Dr. Mark W Jones, MD

I took a fall and ended up with a large disc extrusion. On my first visit he was adamant that he needed to go in an clean it out but wanted a thoracic spine mri first. That MRI took 3 weeks to be scheduled but came out fine. On my return visit he told me that my back is so bad that surgery wouldnt help. He told me the large fragment of disc pressing on my nerve would heal and then told me and I quote "Do it like your Grandma did because back then we didnt do back surgeries" I dont know what changed his mind or if he just thought it was to dangerous for his talent to do but he left me to just go home and live in the pain that has made me an invalid for the last several months with no hope of any relief other than drugs! I find the man to have to ZERO compassion for the pain his patients are going through.

OFFICE STAFF ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IN ABILITY TO MANAGE PATIENT COMMUNCIATION RELATED TO SCHEDULING AND TREATMENT FOLLOWUP. DR. JONES IS VERY LIMITED IN CAPACITY TO TREAT NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS. IF YOU EXPECT CONCLUSIVE RESULTS SEE ANOTHER NEUROSURGEON NOT AN OLD MAN FROM ALMA. WILL ONLY REFER YOU TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN FOR FURTHER B..S. TREATMENT.

I'm very greatful to Dr. Jones for fixing my back an relieveing my severe back pain and numbness. It's like a miracle:)

I was told by the office lady that Dr. JONES refused to see me, when I asked why she said "because this is his practice and his prerogative, so he don't have to see you." I said, " I don't understand why" at witch point she cut me off telling me to have a good day. I had assumed she hung up on me so as I was hanging up my own phone I said " how fu***ng rude." I called my Dr.'s office back to tell them what had happened and I was told that Dr. Jones office had just called them and told them the reason he wouldn't see me is that I had dropped an f-bomb while talking to the Dr. This happened after 3 weeks of waiting patiently for an appointment and being told twice my Dr.'s office never sent a referral, witch they had sent twice, and I was never rude to anyone in his office on any of the phone calls.

Dr. Jones performed two spinal surgeries on me with great results. I have another health problem, and am looking forward to my upcoming appointment with him.

I have seen many doctors in my time and this one takes the cake! Worst bedside manners of all time!! A very rude person! I almost walked out after the first 3 minutes. He would ask a question and wouldn't let me get 2 words out before cutting me off. I didn't need surgery as of now. When I do, I will not go to Dr. Jones.

Very good doctor would and have recommended to family.

Dr. Jones is great. He's not only the best surgeon I've ever had work on me and he has a personality to go with it. He's all business but he the kind of guy that relates well with other pain and agony.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jones. He allowed me to make the decision that was best for me, and he put me back at 110%!
