Dr. Mark S Jorrisch, MD

This dr truly has a God complex and at his mmt program he keeps all patients under 120 and excuses it with peak and trough blood serum which has been proven to be non useful when finding an adequate methadone dose. All patients are different, and this silent dose cap is against regulations and I would imagine highly illegal. I left treatment because of him and went somewhere else. I would NEVER recommend BHG to anyone simply because he's the dr, and is a quack at that.

God complex. Rude. Treats a patient as a criminal, told he asks the questions and needs no input from his customer. Possibly the worst most insulting person I've met. I'm not exaggerating. And I've only replied to these questions when I have positive opinions. I'm sure as long as he's only demeaning to old disabled women with no family and no friends he's considered a saint. He is dangerous.

This Dr. Has a extremely bad attitude problem!! Do not see him if your looking for a Dr who cares at all about you!!!

dr jorrisch is a great caring doctor, however if you are looking for the kind of dr. that prescribes medicine for every ailment then he is not for you. If you are looking for someone who takes a conservative approach a simple approach a less is more approach he is for you. Can you take a dr. that is completely candid with you,or do you need someone to sugar coat all aspects of your care? Remember you are responsible for your own care. Dont drink too much,Eat too much or pop pain pills like salted peanuts. Dr Jorrisch tells it like it is.

The negative reviews are definitely incorrect. Dr. Jorrisch always spends my entire appointment time with me. He has always been very kind and knowledgable. He seems very interested in treatment for drug addictions and I'd never be able to tell which patients are there for that reason, by the company in the waiting area. He has always treated me with not only respect, but compassion and I couldn't imagine him doing any of those things below. Maybe they're just upset because he refuses to write narcotics?

My husband and I have seen Dr. Jorrisch for years. He came highly recommended by a friend. I was shocked to read these negative reviews and feel compelled to defend him. He has always been extremely polite and never come across as arrogant. I feel like he looks at every aspect of my health, which includes life style choices and weight -- that's just the truth about what effects your health, not arrogance. I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

Dr. Jorrisch was on call one late night when I was very sick. He never called me back. I called the answering service again. He then called back and said I had woken him up. Told me if I'd lived this long, I could wait until morning to go to the doctor. He is UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND ARROGANT. I cannot believe he has any patients whatsoever.

He is not a good doctor. He misdiagnosed my problem. I had went to the ER and then followed up with him but he basically blamed my problem on my weight. I ended up going back to the ER 2 days later and was hospitalized. I then had surgery and stayed another day before being sent home. I could have died if I hadn't been hospitalized.

WENT IN FOR ONE SPECIFIC PROBLEM AS HE WAS WRONGLY LISTED ON THE WEB AS A DOCTOR WHO COULD BE HELPFUL, THE STAFF LED ME TO BELIEVE HE WOULD BE HELPFUL, THE IMMENSE PACKET OF INFO WHICH HAD TO BE FILLED OUT LET ME TO BELIEVE HE COULD BE HELPFUL, THE LABWORK (TIME OFF WORK) AND THE EXAM (NOT NEEDED, TIME OFF WORK) LED ME TO BELIEVE I WOULD BE HELPED...ALL FOR "COME BACK NEXT TIME".
