Dr. Mark Kazewych

I went in to see him for low back, hip, and buttock pain that was causing numbing and tingling down my leg to my foot. He diagnosed me with Piriformis Syndrome in which the irritation of the static nerve was passing through my piriformis muscle located in the buttocks. He gave me a shot in which I do not know what it was, into my hip. Temporarily relieving pain from my buttocks. It got worse before it got better until a few months passed by it started to come back but this time visible pain in my low back. The small stretches and exercises he gave me to strengthen the muscle were making the pain worse. Recently I made an appointment to see the doctor again to figure out why I feel more pain that has now spread to the other side of my back. Come to the appointment for them to tell me it has been canceled. As I tried to make another appointment with the same doctor to discuss what he diagnosed me with, the lady at the front desk told me the pain in the back was not in his specialty.… Thanks, doctor, for your mis information that has made me feel worse. Hope you got your money's worth.

Dr Kazewych was very good and listened to my concerns.

I met my angel when I choose Dr Kazewych after reading his educational background & all his achievements from AOA website. I had severe pain in both hands for six years on & off, getting Cortisones shorts & PT from previous doctors that didn't solve the problem. I made an appointment to seeing him, he was very professional with explanation of the surgery, pain was gone after the surgery without any complications. He had performed two more successful shoulder surgeries on me with his expert team, he's knowledgeable & trustworthy. I will highly recommend him to families & friends, kudos to him, nurses, PTs, OTs, & the rest of AOA health care workers.

Dr. Kazewych has performed 4 surgeries on me. It is really a miracle for me to even have surgery, because I am part hemophiliac (factor 8 deficiency in my clotting time.) Also I am diabetic. He is an EXCELLENT surgeon who is a honor student that continues to learn how to help his patients. He is a family man who is gentle, kind, & VERY smart. (Easy-on-the-eyes too! hehehe) His skills are evident in how he closes your incision! Just Amazing! ( I have seen other incisions performed by different surgeons that looked like "Frankinstein" performed them!) You can hardly see the scars in my knees from the surgeries Dr. Kaz did. Now I am able to walk and stand up without that horrible-excruciating pain! Those surgeries have vastly improved my quality of life, perhaps even my quantity also! My hubby and I thank God for Dr. Kaz! You cannot go wrong by choosing him for your surgery. He will be your BIGGEST cheerleader!

I was initially impressed by Dr Kazewych's knowledge and understanding of my condition. He was my second opinion for surgery and i decided that i wanted him to perform the procedure

This was my first time every seeing Dr Kazewych and this office. The staff was extremely professional and polite. Dr Kazewych was a pleasure and very informative. He took his time with me and let me explain everything that was happening without feeling rushed.

Very unprofessional, rude and uncaring difficult to believe he has a clientele. He did not even discuss my MRI findings, it seemed he had not even reviewed the MRI. He was quick to judge me as patient and imply my pain was not justified.

He was efficient, informative and obviously knowledge in explaining my knee injury. Clearly descrbed my options and was very encouraging. He was focused on me as his patient and asked helpful questions to my level of activity. I higly recommend him. Thank for a good experience from the moment of entry to completion of my exam .

Dr. Kaz went out of his way to accommodate and fit me into his last day before vacation schedule to perform the emergency surgery I needed. My fracture was severe and required a plate and many screws. He welcomed the challenge and was confident he could help me which was a great comfort. Dr. Kaz is one of the most compassionate and caring physicians I have ever known. His passion for restoring patients to full mobility is evident. I highly recommend him.
