Dr. Mark Laty has been a vital part of my treatment and has become like 'Family' because of his genuine care for my Health.

He is awesome!!

Stay away from this individual. He is not professional and does not have the patience to deal with people. He is heartless! Stay away from his practice.... do not allow your health insurance to pay for his medioacre service!

Dr. Mark Laty saved my life I am so grateful for him for allowing me to get back on my feet and be a happy and healthy person again. He prescribed me on Naltrexone very quickly, which had helped me so much to stay off of opiates for good, no other doctor wanted to prescribe the naltrexone to me but he saw how broken I was. Yes he can be a little harsh but the truth hurts, some people need to learn to suck it up and take his advice if they want genuine help. He doesn’t play around and try to beat around the bush, he will help you, but you have to be open to receive his professional guidance and help yourself.

Saw Dr.Laty for less than a year, everything was going good, no complaints until i asked if he could up the dosage on a medication of mine (he has increased the dosage on a medication of mine before so i expected this wouldn't be a problem) that i take for anxiety because i was still having anxiety and he completely FLIPPED out and pretty much went on and on how i should go and get a second opinion from another doctor and just go dr another psychiatrist if i want my medications increased and he pretty much threw me out of the room, the AUDACITY of this foolish man. I let him know i didn't see the problem of increasing my medication, I've had psychiatrists to do it before, and i'm not claiming to be a professional, i just have anxiety and was trying to let him know, lol this man can go screw off, he also assumed i had personality disorder based off that whole meeting LOL it was very ignorant of him, i've seen psychiatrists before and NONE have diagnosed me with that and i do NOT have… that issue so me stating i have anxiety has nothing to do with my personality, get help dr.laty, you're very foolish your age, thanks for wasting my time too, good luck to those in his care, he's a little thick in the head if you ask me just being very 100%honest. ??

Dr. Laty changed my life. With his guidance and expertise, he turned a very sad story into success. I never thought i would have the life I have today. He is truly a hero!

Great physician

So I saw this Dr. Mark Laty for two years. The first time I saw him and try to explain my issues he told me that he was not here to listen to my issues he is just there to write prescriptions, but how can you proscribe something if you don't know the issues are? One minute he tells me that I suffer with depression and anxiety the next he say there is nothing wrong with me. I told him another psychiatrist diagnosed me with bipolar and he told me that's wrong and there is no such thing as bipolar disorder and then went on to say the if I had bipolar I would ha went onto a tall building and jumped and die because that's what bipolar is. So am confused, first you said there is no such thing as bipolar but then you say people with bipolar are suicidal, this is what he have done all through my treatment is contradict himself. Seems to me that the psychiatrist need a psychiatrist because he seem to keep having psychotic breaks. I have the proof of his arrogance on tape so he can lie if he… wants to.
