Dr. Mark Joseph Lucarelli, MD

Dr Lucarelli was a straight shooter about my skin cancer near my left eye. He made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. Did a great job as all my friends couldn’t even tell the procedure was done. Great bedside manner. Loved every part of the process and it turned out great !!!

Dr. Lucarelli was an excellent doctor. He took the time to explain everything to me before the surgery, and even spoke to me during surgery to let me know what was happening at the time. Post op follow up was outstanding also. I couldn't have picked a better doctor to do my ectropion eye repair. Even his office staff at the Rockford office was outstanding. The best doctor's experience I've ever had. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

It's hard to put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Lucarelli for the excellent care I received during a long, difficult bout with thyroid eye disease. Other Ophthalmologists were unable to provide answers or options leaving me frustrated and overwhelmed. From the initial visit, I knew he was an answer to a prayer. He will always be considered a blessing to me. I went from being distraught about my eyesight, the pain, and my appearance to feeling and looking like myself again. I would highly recommend Dr. Lucarelli and have already done so more than once. He is truly a credit to his profession! Not only because of the depth of knowledge, understanding and treatment of diseases that effect the eyes.  But also because of his kind, compassionate care.  A thousand thanks to an awesome doctor!!

Thrilled with the results of my blepharoplasty! Dr. Lucarelli is an excellent surgeon. He was highly recommended and I am glad I chose him to perform my surgery. Surgery to correct ptosis performed 11/28/2017. I was made to feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident upon arrival and before, during, and after the procedure. Instructions and contacts made before surgery were comprehensive and very helpful. Dr. Lucarelli is a gem.

prior to surgery I looked though slits because the lids had so much excess skin. after surgery my field of vision has greatly improved. there was absolutely no pain following the procedure.

thorough explanation of procedure to be performed (this was an extreme reconstruction of lower lid after cancer surgery) absolutely astonished with the success of this reconstruction - excellent results...we had no idea that my father was so fortunate to have been referred to Dr Lucarelli

Dr. Lucarelli answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. I think he truly likes helping his patients and has a true gift. My surgery went well and I am very pleased with the outcome. Dealing with the effects of the eye disease was difficult for me. His his knowledge and expertise made is easier to manage.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Lucarelli preform a reconstructive surgery on the left margin of my eye. He was knowledgable, experienced, and extremely kind and caring. I will gladly use his services at any time needed and I have been singing his praises and recommending him to everyone I hear needs his talent and skills.
