Despite my son's mostly organic diet, lack of processed foods, and 11-13 hour sleeping schedule. I was told that my son is not autistic but instead needs to be in bed by 6pm and no soda and juice. (which he has NO access to) I was was flabbergasted when he mentioned that kids didn't have as many diagnoses of autism when he was growing up because mom had dinner on the table at 5, and kids were bathed and in bed by 6. I feel like he will be one of the leaders in that show The Handmaid's Tale. He shames "not-normal" family structures and is at his a core a fundamentalist. Sadly, he let's stereotyping impede on his quality of treatment. The few methods I was able to absorb were somewhat helpful.

Also, he spoke of his "Nanny" taking care of his own children to the point that he would go a day or two without seeing them from time to time because of his own work hours. If you are a white family with a mom(stay at home), dad(engineer, dr or the like) and dog.... He will be a great fit.....… Anyone else I warned you.

Dr. Moncino has been amazing in with our son who has been diagnosed with autism.

Dr. Moncino is awesome. He understood my kids and worked with me to treat them as they needed. My kids adored him and he taught me a lot. He was our primary physician for 8+ years and we left Kaiser which was brutal but necessary due to moving further away. My kids still grumble about their bedtime which he set but it’s been so long they are used to it and understand because he explained to them about the importance of sleep before midnight. He would speak to them directly and it really made such a difference for their understanding and health. If I could have Dr. Moncino back with my current insurance I would in a heartbeat.

This doctor is so rude. He gets very agitated if you aren't vaccinating/delaying vaccines. I would never recommend him to anyone. Just a complete jerk.

Is my sons pediatrician for the past year and is almost never available for a one on one...and when he finally had time it was to judge my personal life more than addressing my concerns about my son . His racist subliminal comments were also very disturbing .it was as though I took my son to his appointment to be ridiculed...with all this said Iam now actively looking for a new pediatrician...do not recommend him at all
