Dr. Mark Donnal Myers, MD

Both my boys have been seen by Dr Mark their entire lives (my oldest now 20) and I can't imagine having anyone else. He is truly amazing

We have seen Dr Myers for years and we find him to be a very competent and caring physican. He believes that nurturing your own relationship is important in a marriage and he recognizes that raising children is a lot of hard work. We have been very happy with his advice over the years and feel that it has been invaluable. He listens to our conerns abnd works with us to problem solve issues we are having with out children.

We have seen Dr. Meyers several times as a referral from my primary care dr, As stated in another review he is very set in his ideas and his ways. As a family we do go against some main stream views, such as letting a baby/toddler cry it out to sleep and nursing past a year. I have been spoken to like I was not completely competent which is highly frustrating and feel like my daughter is just another number. Also the added (without asking for) parenting and marriage life advice is not really needed. Our past several visits have been a disappointment and we will be switching.

I was shocked when I had such a bad 1st appointment with Dr Myers after reading all of his great reviews. We are brand new to the area so that was all I had to rely on. I found him extremely judgemental and unprofessional. He did not listen to anything I had to say. He did not know me, my family or my baby! And all he did was judge and talk talk talk. I was so shocked I just stood there and cried. Maybe he was having a bad day, but either way I did not deserve the way he treated us. To give you an example, one thing he hammered me for was not having gone away overnight with my husband yet and leaving my 1yr old with my 73yr old mom (I'm 40), whom lives 2hrs away. My mom is not very mobile, not strong, and is sick frequently. We live in a 3500sqft house. She would never be able to care for him without putting him or herself in danger. Dr Myers didn't listen to anything. All he kept saying was "Think of how happy your husband would be." He also told me I was an enabler because my… baby does not sleep in a crib and even though we have tried the "cry it out method" it has not worked for us. He told me I need to get earplugs. Needless to say we are looking for a new Pediatrician.

Dr. Meyers is not our primary care pediatrician but we have seen him on several occasions for sick visits. Both of my daughters love him - he always treats them and myself with respect and seems to genuinely care about their issues. If we ever had to switch primary doctors, I would choose Dr. Meyers in a heartbeat!

Dr. Myers is a wonderful pediatrician who really cares about and listens to his patients. He has always provided care for my now 10 yr old son since he was born. (also my daughter up until she was 11 and then decided on her own she wanted a female doctor, so we switched to a female doctor in Dr. Myers practice)I would highly recommend Dr. Myers to anyone who may be looking for a pediatrician. He listens carefully to all concerns a parent might have and he gets down to your childs level and talks directly to your child as well.not just to the parent. He also doesnt make you feel rushed. I am comfortable also with the referals to specialists from Dr. Myers office that my children has needed over the years. We also love Dr. Myers nurse who has been with him for many years.
