Dr. Mark Charles Nenow, MD

I would not recommend this physician. I took my son to see him and he had a terrible bed side manner. We were sent there from primary care because they were unable to get a good look in his ears. They wanted to be sure that he did not have a ruptured tympanic membrane. Dr. Nenow also said he couldn't see because of wax and said there is nothing to do but surgery anyways. So, he did nothing and my son is still having difficulty hearing and has had dried blood come out of his ears. Will never go to this provider again.

I had surgery 2 years ago well I went to a ear nose and throat place today I found out he knew I had a deviated Septem which he should have fixed while doing sinus surgery he did not do that and he has made my life miserable idk what has been going on the past 2 years until today and I have to go into surgery again I am highly dissapointed I would not recommend him to anyone

I highly recommend Dr. Nenow to anyone looking for excellent medical care and a friendly environment. He’s great!

Dr. Nenow removed my daughters tonsils and it was a great experience!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made a scary situation, of our young child having to have surgery, not so scary. Dr. Nenow personally called the day after to check on her. This experience was so amazing!! She healed perfectly with no complications. A year later After swimming in a lake, our daughter developed a severe ear infection Dr. Nenow was at his other office and we were willing to drive over an hour away just to see him!!

Dr. Nenow has been my doctor for quite some time. I had been to several ENT doctors before finding Dr. Nenow. I had to have Sinus surgery to remove polyps twice before seeing him but they always returned. Of course when I went to my appointment with Dr. Nenow the polyps had returned again but he was the first doctor to mention allergies. I completed the surgery-had the polyps removed but immediately began allergy injections. I was skeptical at first that allergies was the problem but this has been the longest period of time I have gone without the polyps returning. I wish I would have gone to him sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money and time off work.

I went to Nenow in Indiana several years ago. I was diagnosed by him with Nasal Polyps and he recommended surgery. He basically cleared a small passageway and discontinued the surgery. He said I might be okay then skipped out of town. I found out by another Doctor that I had what was called inverted papilloma, Nenow had no idea what he was looking at as far a my sinus go. My experience with Nenow was not a very good one. Glad he moved.

The audiologist in the office was very nice, but Dr. Nenow was a joke. I had to wait for 45 minutes to see the audiologist, then returned to the waiting room for another 10 minutes to see Dr. Nenow. His nurse was rude, and after taking my blood pressure notified me that I had high blood pressure. I have never been told this, and she did not tell me what it was. She asked if I was on medicine, I replied no, but it does run in the family... she shrugged. I explained my problems to the dr. and he told me that there was nothing they could do, except surgery. This had already been explained to me by the audiologist who took the time to trigger the problems, ask me questions, and explain in detail what was happening. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. On a good note - the receptionist was wonderful.

Aside from having zero bedside manner, I think, this man should not be practicing medicine. He performed oral surgery on me with very little anesthetics. Sent me home with no antibiotics and no suggested care or concern of infection. A staff member did follow up, a week later. Needless to say I ended up in the hospital, the next day for 24 hours on an IV, steroids, suction, morphine, and antibiotics. During my hospital stay Mr. Nenow was contacted by my attending physician and would not speak with him. When confronted, Mr. Nenow felt he did nothing wrong and provided no help what so ever. It is easy to get an appointment, now I see why.
