Dr. Mark Conrad Ottelin, MD

Extremely rude and dismissive to my elderly father at the initial office visit for severe urinary difficulty. Never going back to this offfice.

Dr. Ottelin is very rude and arrogant. He bullies you into treatment that you do not have an input. He gets in your face and and your partners face and screams. You do not want cancer do you? Patients are nervous enough without being subjected to that kind of abuse and treatment by a doctor. What person would want cancer?Before you have the test done he tells you how it will be handled if there is a problem. Then once he has the results it is a different story. He lies about everything he is telling you. When you tell him he said one thing before the test and another thing after the test. He gets his smart attitude with you which is not acceptable. After all you are the patient and you have rights. It is your body not his that is having treatment. I will never go back to someone who screams in your face and bullies you. What would they do to you if you were under sedation????

Dr Ottelin has seen my father for the last time. He did not listen to a single word said. He disputed the findings of Dad’s primary doctor with a “ I’m his urologist no one else should be checking his PSA.” An arrogant and condescending non-professional.

I was well respected when I had an appointment with this Doctor. I have been there several times and was treated with kindness.

I was VERY disappointed with Dr Ottelin. He does not listen well and he charted that I had type 2 diabetes, and I don't. Most of all he lacks the kindness and caring demeanor that a health professional should express. I now have to go to another doctor because I feel he did not thoroughly examine me nor hear my needs.

He is friendly, nice , professional . speaks to your face and doesn't look somewhere else when speaking with you. Explains when you don't understand. He gets straight to the point. No long waiting like some places to rush you out.
