Dr. Mark Jerome Paradela, MD

It's hard to get anyone to answer the phone. When I need refills on my Meds. An the pharmacist can't get a whold of them.

I have been very fortunate to find Dr. Mark Paradela, Internist and Geriatrician. I am a senior and I have been treated by Dr. Paradela for the last 5 years. This Dr. is caring, concerned and VERY COMPASSIONATE all of his patients. Dr. Paradela listens carefully and knows immediately how to treat all of my medical concerns. He never rushes me, gives me as much time as I need, and after he has finished addressing all of my medical needs, will always say, “What else can I do for you?” I always tell him he is the BEST. Give him a call, he will never disappoint you. I have recommended several family members and friends who are seeking a good doctor. As far as I am concerned, he is the best Internest/Geriatric Doctor in the state of Georgia!!!!!

First let me say I work at a hospital and understand patient care. With my insurance they recommended this Dr so instead of changing I decided to try him out. The first time I waited more than an hour past my appointment time before I was brought back then another long wait before actually seeing the Dr. he was nice and took his time. The second time same thing. The third time is now and I am passed two hours of waiting . This is completely unacceptable, one or two times I understand but this is ridiculous. I just here for my annual and nothing more. Unless you have no life I would not recommend this Dr.

Dr. Paradela is wonderful, but his office staff is so disorganized they don't know which way is up. They are all very nice, but they don't know what they are doing (most of them). Half the time their office phones will give you a busy tone for hours. The office staff will be missing from the front for 20 to 30 minutes at a time so you have to stand there and wait to even be checked in. The wait time is also ridiculous. We have had to wait in the waiting room to see Dr. Paradela for two hours before. If you're going to see Dr. Paradela it is much better to schedule a morning appointment to avoid such long wait times; plus, when you're scheduled to see him after lunch and wait two hours you end up getting caught in Athens afternoon traffic. Again, Dr. Paradela is a wonderful doctor who knows what he is talking about. He stays up to date with the latest and greatest. He also has the patience of a saint needed to deal with elderly patients. If he wasn't such a great doctor with a terrible… staff, I wouldn't mind going.

I take my mother to see Dr.Paradela and she loves him.So do I .He's knowledgable,thorough,and really seems to care about his patients.The only real issue is that the wait time can be a little long when his office is really busy.

Dr. Paradela is such a wonderful physician, his staff is just as wonderful! When you go in for an appointment you can tell that the whole office is passionate about the services they provide, Dr. Paradela is truly a Blessing from above. You wouldn't be able to find a better physician anywhere! He is resourceful and his practice is up to date, He knows what he is talking about! He takes the time to listen to you and to explain things, he is thorough and straight to the point!

This dr is so professional and caring, he gives 100% attentiveness and his devotion to patient shows.
