Dr. Mark Jason Polatnick, MD

Dr. Polatnick has been my primary for more than a decade. I am totally confident in him and find his "bedside manner" to be comforting and kind. No better doc around!

Dedicated, resourceful, good listener, reads people well.

Dr Polatnick is great but the service side of the office is terrible. Dr Polatnick listens, gives you plenty of time during your appointment and while I'm not a Dr., I do believe his recommendations to be good. On the other hand, the office itself is poor. Good luck trying to get through their phone system as it is always busy...no answering machine so you'll have to call all day to finally get through. The office should be cleaner. The staff is rude and should get more training on people skills. Finally, I've had numerous prescriptions called into CVS after my appointment only to find out they are different from what was actually discussed with the Dr. But Dr Polatnick is great and the only reason I stick around. They need an office manager that straightens that place out.

I love Dr Polatnick. He has been my doctor many years and has always been patient and attentive with me. I have had some harder conditions to diagnose and Mark never gave up or doubted my symptoms. The one thing I can say, it is hard to make an appointment. When I call, I feel like I am wasting the staff's time and they spend as little time with me as possible. I understand its a busy office, but its sad to see with such a wonderful doctor.

When i set up a appoitment with this office I was presented with a 2.5 month wait. On the day of my appoitment I was told to be there at 12:45 but when I arrived the office door was closed, locked,and had a sign that said they will return at 2:45pm. I waited for about 30 minutes and no one arrived so I left. When I called for an explanation I was told that I had missed my appoitment and that they "usually" open their doors at 12:40 when they get back from lunch. I was there at 12:40 and no doors were opened. I am amazed that a doctor's office behaves in such a manner but maybe this is the norm in the area.
