Dr. Mark P Provenzano, MD

After many consultations, and multiple MRI scans, Dr. Provenzano spent an hour with me explaining the complexity of my problem. He was kind enough to outline several options from therapy to surgery, and we climbed the ladder of treatment. Fortunately, surgery was not ultimately required, and I was able to resume my recreational athletics without pain. I am truly grateful for his time and expertise. He is a kind and caring doctor.

Does not go for conservative methods..instead goes directly to surgery ... Only gives option of doing surgery or not for meniscus... After 2 miniscus surgeries my knee is worse....all other drs told me I should have tried other methods . before surgery... Spends exactly 2 minutes with patient. I timed him. Also begged him to do MRI because i suspected another tear...he wont listen...so after 3 months begging with no avail I had one done by another Dr...sure enough there was a tear...wish he listened to me.instead of being in pain for 3 months..now 7 months and im not healed....

Dr. P. was able to evaluate my complex knee injury after seeing multiple doctors. The surgery was extremely well explained, and all options were outlined. He was able to repair my knee, and I was able to resume my professional athletic career. I will always be grateful to Dr. P. for his kindness, and surgical skill. He even made a house call post-op to check on me. Skilled and caring doctors still exist.

The first time he saw me, he spoke way too fast and was quick to diagnose the problem. After symptoms didn't disappear I went back and we went through the same treatment plus an injection and more therapy. It still wasn't better so he ordered an MRI. Instead of an IT band injury it was a meniscus tear. I feel like a lot of valuable time was lost during visits and he didn't adequately listen to my symptoms.

I had a pretty complicated knee scope with Dr. P and the entire experience was rather quick and pain free. I had a competition coming up within two weeks, and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment that week. He has an MRI in the office and was able to go over the images immediately after the imaging and explained why I needed surgery in detail using the images and a knee model. I scheduled the surgery the next week and they were able to have it done two weeks later at the surgicare center next door to his office. Everyone at the surgicare center was helpful and friendly, and the operation was over quickly. I was walking the same day and my knee recovered really quickly with almost no pain. Do yourself a favor, and if you are going to have knee surgery, make sure you use someone like Dr. P so you don't regret it!

Dr. Provenzano is one the few remaining doctors that takes time to discuss and relate the issues of concern. He is an excellent model of what a caring doctor should be. He posesses excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.

He came very highly recommended to me when I had my knee injury, and eventually I had to have m other knee worked on.Everyone I have recommended him to have been very satisfied.

I have been to Dr P for several different injuries over the past 6-7 years. I won't go to any one else. I recommend him to anyone that asks.

Dr. Provenzano is attentive, energetic and very caring. I've had 4 surgeries with him and one of the things I love is, when he calls your home to check on you, he doesn't say "this is Dr. Provenzano", he says "this is Mark Provenzano". Very humble for an outstanding doctor and surgeon!!!

I always have good experience with Dr Provenzano's results (I had 2 surgeries). I never have to wait too long for a post-ops, but I did have a wait 1-2 hrs before, for regular appointments. He always apologized when he was running late; mostly due to emergency surgery which he had to perform (or at least that's what he said)
