Dr. Mark David Rattinger, MD

You don't have to read many of the reviews on this page to realize that Dr. Mark Rattinger could care less about his patients. In fact, I sometimes wonder if he actually went to med school. I asked him about a couple of off values in a urine test and he said both tests were the same. He was wrong. Also, after seeing him for 3 minutes in his office he escorts you out even if you're still trying to talk to him. When I said I forgot to ask him something in the hallway and requested that we go back in his office to discuss it, he made me discuss it in the hallway, in ear shot of everyone. Dr. Rattinger will tell you that he likes you one minute, then ignores your questions or dismisses your concerns without any follow-up. I'm looking for a new doctor.

Arrogant, cold, rude.

Not good at listening.

This physician should not be practicing medicine. I recently accompanied a dear friend to see Dr. Rattinger for a follow up visit. My friend was clearly not doing well and was on the verge of going to the ER if she had not had this appointment. When my friend explained her continued difficulties to Dr. Rattinger, he could not have been more dismissive. My friend tried to get him to listen but his mind was made up: she was doing fine. Long story short, she was admitted to the ER and received IV fluids and electrolytes. The hospital staff stated that if it were not for the impending hurricane, they would have admitted her. STAY AWAY FROM RATTINGER.

The care and attention I receive from Dr. Rattinger is 2nd to none. Most importantly the entire staff is wonderful.

I read some of these ‘reviews’ and wondered who those people saw. The Mark Rattinger my wife and I have seen, for the 9 yrs we have lived in Florida, is the best physician either of us has ever had. Aside from general knowledge (most doctors have that) Dr. Rattinger is always up to date on trends, treatments, medications, and who to refer you to for other specialties and surgery. He embraces and makes great use of technology and the facility, Flagler Medical, he shares with the other doctors (partners) has its own lab, blood draw, and x-ray components for great convenience. We would be happy to recommend Dr. Rattinger to our family, friends, and anyone seeking a great personal physician!

Dr. Rattinger is just horrible and his staff is worse. I can’t believe how little they care about their patients. Just trying to run tests to bill your insurance.

I was randomly sent for an invasive surgery due to his arrogance, unwillingness to listen to me and AFTER HAVING A SURGERY THAT WAS NOT NEEDED...he was unapologetic and remained abrasive and as always in a rush, dismissed my expressed concerns. If you are looking for a doctor who does not sit, do not make eye contact and usher patients through the office like an assembly line, Dr. Rattinger is your guy!
