He made us feel guilty for asking for a second opinion on surgery .... Unbelievable...

Dr. Mark did a wonderful job healing my son’s wrist fracture. He took the time to obtain better xrays than the urgent care we went to. He went over the xrays and talked to my son and I about his fracture and when he can get back to sports. He is very patient and has a wonderful bedside manner.

We took our son to him for a toe fracture because the urgent care doctor said he would need pins. Dr. Riederer said he was too busy and to just let it heal crooked.

Dr. Mark is an outstanding sports medicine doctor. He made sure to thoroughly explain my daughter's diagnosis, review her x-rays and MRI, and ensure that I had the chance to ask questions. He didn't make me feel rushed. He spent a lot more time than the other orthopedic specialist we saw.

He doesn’t take the time to get to know his patients. He quickly makes assumptions, not based on facts and then acts on those assumptions. He ruined a family all because he failed to cover all his bases, acted rashly, and only wanted the quick fix to cover his practice and get on with his life while single handedly ruining our precious baby girls life and that of her brother! Don’t go to him or UM for that matter. If you do bring your lawyer.

I have been impressed with Dr. Riederer's professional and caring demeanor with my son as well as his treatment plan/confidence. My son was treated for a serious broken arm.

"Dr Mark" as he referred to himself was exceptional. He spent time with us explaining the injury and was patient with all our questions. Our daughter tore her ACL and it was an emotional experience, beyond the physical pain. Dr Mark ensured we understand the injury, the surgery and overall ACL protocol. Our daughter has an interest in the medical field and he even offered to allow her to spend the day with him after recovery to learn more about a "day in the life".
