Dr. Mark Steven Rosenthal, MD

My name is Linda McNeil and my mother is a patient of Dr. Rosenthal and the whole cardiology group. I cannot say enough about all of the staff and Dr. Blitz, and Dr. Brown. Her TAVR (aortic valve replacement) has significantly changed her life for the better. She had it done over a year ago and has had ZERO problems. She is exercising at 83 years old and looks and feels wonderful. It all started with the first visit with Dr. Rosenthal. He was COMPASSIONATE, patient, kind and caring. He guided us through what should have been a very scary and confusing process and explained everything every step of the way. Although he didn't do the actual surgery (Dr. Blitz and Dr. Brown did... and they were amazing as well) all of the pre-operative appointments were with Dr. Rosenthal and now all of the follow up appointment are with him as well. My mom actually looks forward to seeing him! If Dr. Rosenthal is reading this review, I would like to say "thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of… your patience and kindness. Best Doctor anyone could have all the positive things said about him are so true. he explains in laymans terms your condition and what he advises. Also he has a sense of humor which helps a person to relax. Great physician.

Marc Rosenthal is the only physician who correctly figured out why I have high blood pressure. After years of multiple drugs to control my hypertension that didn't work, he took a simple blood test and found out that I have hyperaldosteronism. I now take one pill that controls my htn. He is a great doctor and a true gentleman

Dr. Rosenthal is simply the best! He guided me through several years of severe mitral valve prolapse, quickly organized my surgery when it was time with one of the finest surgeons in the country, and then was the first doctor I saw after my surgery, spending over a half hour reviewing how everything went, and then checking in with me every day while spending time! You just won't find a better cardiologist anywhere.

my low bedside rating pertains not to me, but how i've seen mark interact with others. the same applies to staff behavior. some of his staff are utterly phenomenal while others leave quite a bit to be desired both in professionalism and common courtesy.

It felt like this doctor pretty much diagnosed me before even touching me. He was stand offish and very condescending! I left the office feeling no better than when I arrived. Upon being brought into a room, there was a new trainee who didn't know how to take a BP and pumped the cuff really tightly and kept it this way for what seemed like forever! The other assistant then proceeded to take a BP in the same arm immediatlely thereafter which is not the way it's done. The doctor talked quickly and dismissed my symptoms and concerns. His receptionist is the best part of his practice.
