Dr. Mark Alan Scheperle, MD

Dr. Scheperle is the kindest, most attentive, knowledgeable physician I have ever had. I cannot imagine giving any less than 5 stars. My sister initially referred me to him and I have referred multiple friends and family who have each had equally positive experiences.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scheperle for approximately 15 years. He provides excellent health care and takes the time to get to know his patients. He always explains things so you understand the issues you may be having and how to correct them. His nurse, Paula is also outstanding. If I call with a question or problem either Dr. Scheperle or Paul get back with me in a timely manner. I will continue seeing him because he cares about my health and well being.l

Dr. Scheperle is very knowledgeable and has an uncommonly GREAT "bedside manner." He always engages patients on a personal level, has an infectious smile and laugh and never makes me feel as though he's in a hurry for me to leave. I can't think of a better general practitioner out there.

Over about three years of supposedly being his patient, I met Dr. Scheperle only twice for about 15 minutes each time. The second time we met, which was about a year ago, I reminded him about a significant and unusual part of my medical/surgical history. He did not recall this information, and then offered/volunteered an explanation of the reasons for the surgery that was incorrect. I don't know whether he was confusing me with another patient or just leaping to conclusions about why I had the history I did, but it was among the strangest exchanges I have ever had with a physician. He never followed up with me after this appointment, even though I had lots of blood drawn that day, supposedly to help him answer some specific questions about symptoms I am continuing to have. Needless to say I have finally moved on. I agree with the negative comments about his office staff as well; they are often very unkind. I have seen a couple of excellent nurse practitioners in Dr.… Schperle's office, but they do not seem to stay long--I am not sure why.

Dr. Scheperle is the best doctor I have seen in St. Louis, starting in 2002 and then I left for several years came back and made an appointment and it was the same caring doctor I had bragged about while living in another state. He is truly a caring, compassionate Doctor and I am honored to be a patient of his.

This physician was unbelievable and very thorough with over 90 year old parents. He was willing to take the time to understand their issues and lifestyles. He helped them realize their potential to continue safe exercise and diet to help their aging process and quality of life. We are extremely lucky to have him and staff as a resource.

The best doctor I've ever encountered. He's very professional & his bedside manners are superb. I completely trust him with my health concerns.

I travel 3 highways to continue to have Dr. Mark as my doctor. I trust him with his diagnosis and if I didn't he listens to me. As any good doctor should know his patient and if they know their body. He never judges. He has a wonderful and helpful staff that will go out of their way to help.

I would never recommend this office to anyone. One of the main office staff can be very rude, and she acts as if its her first day everyday even though she was there the entire time a was a patient. If you have to call about something they are not prompt in getting back to you. I once waited 2 weeks for important test results, only to call myself and find out they had been in for over a week and a half and no called me. They steer you towards treatments they themselves have had. If you have any problems with any of the nurses, there is no way to contact Dr. Scheperle personally. I I could go on. I was very unhappy when I left their practice. They just dont seem to care about their patients. I was appalled.
