Dr. Mark Martin Simonian, MD

He has taken care of my children since birth. He is not a “silly” kind of guy that is true but he has always been able to calm my babies with “swish-swish” sounds, always has time to answer my questions and has a very detailed website with lots of information.

Dr. Simonian has bad bedside manners. He's rude and belittle parents when he has to explain the diagnoses. He's has no children skills given that he has been a Pediatrician for that many years. He's rough with the kids which makes the appointment unpleasant. My kids dislike seeing him and so do I.

My two children were patients of Dr. Simonian, but after my youngest child (who was an infant at the time) was not properly referred to a specialist for his constant vomiting and severe weight gain we changed pediatricians. Prior to this experience Dr. Simonian had poor bedside manners and appeared irritated when questions were asked. I will never forget my first encounter with Dr. Simonian; it was the next day after having my first son and I explained the constant crying, which to me being a new mom appeared as if the child was in pain; Dr. Simonian responded very rudely "...babies cry". His staff is great, but Dr. Simonian is far from pleasant to be around or have children around him. I think people are able to get their children in quick, because not too many parents want their children to be treated by him.

I'm glad My kids have such a great doctor. I know who to run to when my kids are sick or hurt. He never lets me down.

Dr. Simonian is extremely professional and very kind to children. His office environment and staff are very inviting and comfortable for kids. It's easy to get an appointment without the usual hassle of a crowded office no longer accepting new patients. Dr. Simonian is informative to the parent and has interactive tools in place that provide extra service to the client. We enjoy going for an office visit and the experience is always professional.

Dr Simonian is a very nice man. He is very professional and computer savy. Everything is available online. Even print shot records, date of last visit etc. During office visits well & sick he does not "play" or really interact with the kids much, mostly matter of fact with them. Less talk all observation, but will listen endlessly to a worried mom during a visit. My kids are still in the toddler phase so this was a bit different than I'm used to. Their previous Dr. always made them laugh. Dr. Simonian does not have a nurse & gives all his own vaccinations, which were by far the best my boys ever received. Quick & almost painless with 4 shots in a row! He is a no non sense Dr that would prefer you to refer to his website for knowledge & call if your questions aren't answered online. Office staff seems a bit short, but they do try hard to be friendly. Check out his website.
