Dr. Mark Raymond Sobers, MD

This man called Dr. is the worst I've ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Does not have any interest in helping, probably only cares about money. He is very rude person and does not want hear anything, Horrible bed side manners. Do not go to him please, any other is better than this one.

I am inclined to agree with the unflattering comments made here. My experience with this doctor was actually ten years ago, but I looked him up on the web to see if has managed to stay in practice. My experience with Mark Sobers was in taking care of my elderly father. Sobers really was a hack. He paid no attention to my father's concerns about his memory loss, nor did he listen to me when I eventually weighed in. I had to take my father to a university medical center in Seattle (where I live), where he was promptly diagnosed with moderately-progressed Alzheimers disease. After that, I switched him to another doctor in the practice and we got much better care. Sobers was rude, didn't listen, and did have a tendency to bully patients and families. I am a nurse practitioner so I know of what I speak. My time then was spent on my father, but I now regret not making formal complaints about "Dr" Sobers. Avoid at all costs.

This man is the personification of an HMO hack. He ignored fully 90% of what I said. When I told him of severe pain in my eye, such that I couldn't wear a contact lens, he told me to "buy a pair of glasses and learn to live with it."After consulting another doctor, it turned out to be ocular rosacea, easily treated with tetracycline. Don't waste your time and money with this jerk.

Dr. Sobers took care of my 85 and 92 year old parents for 7 years. His ability and patience with the elderly is outstanding. He truly listened and cared about them, when other doctors would just treat them halfheartedly. I highly recommend Dr. Sobers.

This man should never have become a doctor. He is rude, ignorant and insolent. He spent minimal time with intake and examination and did not listen to my concerns. He gave an unsolicited and inappropriate opinion. He ordered bloodwork and I had to call three times over a period of a two weeks before he called back. He reported that everything was normal. Guess what???? It wasn't....and neither is he. Stay away from this guy.

He made comments and made assumptions before I even explained what I was feeling. He did not lay one hand on me before referring me to another physician in his office. He seemed annoyed when I asked questions and made generalized statements and again made assumptions before waiting for my reply, when he asked a question. He actually made this statement " Well, i have an idea about what your going to say and you need to just listen to what i have to say". Even though he asked a question, he didn't wait for my answer! He simply assumed what I would say and stopped me to impose his opinion...But how can he have an opinion if I have not had a chance to talk?? He was terrible! made me feel very uncomfortable and rushed! Never again!
