doctor mark stecker provides very poor quality of patient care, doctor stecker has patient's waiting for hours before being seen, office is messy, doctor stecker seems bothered when, I requested a medical clearance doctor stecker was very rude and stated that he would never sign anything and risk getting sued, and I couldn't believe he just walked out and left me in the examination room I am not going to continue being a patient of doctor mark stecker

I am extremely disappointed with the poor quality doctor mark stecker neurologist provides patients, patients are left waiting for hours before being seen, when office staff are asked for the reason why the wait is so long they tell patients to reschedule, I needed a medical procedure done at the hospital and was in need of a medical clearance, and when I requested such a document from doctor mark stecker he was bothered and rudely said he would not provide any documentation because he would get sued if something went wrong, doctor stecker didn't care about my well-being doctor stecker is not professional and I did not return as a patient, I recommend don't recommend doctor stecker neurologist and I commented because people need to be aware of the poor quality of patient care doctor mark stecker neurologist provides its very upsetting to see patients with brain injuries be belittled by the doctors patients assume are there to help

Rude, very arrogant. Has no bedside manners. May have went to school for knowledge, but didn’t go to school for patient kindness

If I had the option do give zero stars, I would. Very disappointed with the care he provided. Didn’t even take the time to listen to all the symptoms that I was experiencing. He would ask me questions and when I would respond with detail he would get upset and just wanted yes or no answers. He also looked annoyed when I started asking him questions. Do not recommend him at all

Dr. Stecker is a very knowledgeable doctor who takes the time to diagnosis his patients thoroughly.

Dr Stecker was the only doctor at Winthrop Hospital with an actual heart and brain. Had he been the only person I worked with and a few of his staffers that also seemed human. I might have gotten some actual help. Winthrop though seems like most hospitals where I had Drs. PA"s and circus elephants parading in to "see me"... None of them wanted to answer any of my questions or actually talk with me about what was going on. They only wanted to say "they saw me" so, they could bill. I know this to be true because since when is asking a person to IDENTIFY themselves or what they were going to do for/with me offensive? 1 Dr or PA circus clown actually told me "he was only seeing me because he covers the weekends" blah blah blah When I told him about my vomiting, pain and not being able to keep actual food down his response was "I'm not giving you any other medications".. So, I was left frustrated , suffering and honestly I think almost on the brink of a psychotic break.

Terrible bedside manner! Extremely condescending, rude, and NOT prompt. I remember needing him to fill work for me. He did not comply. Extremely stubborn, pompous, and arrogant.

The worst doctor I have ever encountered. He is extremely unorganized and has a HORRIBLE attitude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
