Dr. Mark David Stoeckel, MD

I saw Dr Stoeckel several times for a variety of issues. He was always very helpful and took his time. But now he is not at that office and I am stuck with another doctor who is not as nice and the last time insaw him the nurse who takes blood pressure told me I needed to get off my phone before he came in even though I was on the phone with another doctors office. He came in 15 minutes later and I had ended my call. This particular person is always rude and has a bad attitude. I'm actively looking for a new doctor.

DR.Mark Stoeckel is the best familyou Dr.I have ever seen. Compassionate, understanding,and takes the time to listen to you. I REALLY NEED THE PHONE NUMBER TO HIS NEW LOCATION. I AM A CURRENT PATIENT.NEED TO MAKE A APPOINTMENT.

He told me, lose 50 lbs. and your ailments will go away, they did. When I went cold turkey on alcohol he helped me with my gout, prescribed allopurinol/ naproxen. He is always a positive guy & physician. Thanks Mark !

Best doctor he listens did he move would love to always be a patient

I read several good reviews of Dr. Stoeckel, but that was not the experience that I had with him or his office staff. I only saw him once for my annual physical and he seemed okay, but I didn't feel a good connection with him or his staff. I am in good health with no chronic problems, but he ordered more tests than I've ever had before and he wanted me to get another questionable radiological test that was not covered by insurance. I had to come back two more times for blood draws because their lab kept screwing up the tests that he originally ordered (all came back normal). My main issue was how I was treated when I tried to get a maintenance script refilled that he had only authorized for 6 months. I called in a refill request with his medical assistant, who called me back about 36 hrs later and informed me that the script would not be refilled until I scheduled another full exam with the doctor. I was told that the Dr sees all of his patients every 6 months, which was not made… clear during my physical. I asked her to have the Dr call me to explain why it was medically necessary for him to examine me again, but he never called back, nor did she call in the promised 30-day refill. After 2 weeks of no action, I went to the office to ask the doctor personally why he needed to examine me again, and I was met by the office manager and informed that I was being dropped as a patient because I didn't follow the doctor's "care schedule". I never did hear from him. I can only assume that he didn't want me as a patient because I wouldn't let them bill for unnecessary visits. I'm off to find another doctor that cares and communicates better!

Dr Stoekel himself is a professional. The problem is the staff. Since he is the leader of his staff I can't recommend the office. So here is the story. Whatever you do don't be late, you will never hear the end of it. If I could give a 0 rating I would. On my first two visits Dr Mark Stoeckel's staff was condescending and needling about being on time. First visit I was 30 minutes early but that was not good enough. Second visit I was 3 minutes late due to a traffic accident. Both the receptionist and the nurse separately felt the need to keep reminding me that "Dr Stoeckel is a stickler for time". I definitely understand that many people are late, however I am not one of those people. The office seems to lack a bed side manner and true heart for caring about its patients. I would not recommend anyone use this GP.

I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Dr. Stoeckel. He's personable, professional, attentive and ON-TIME! (So don't be late) He takes time to look at all facets and provides a thorough examination every time. Great Dr. Great Man.

Dr. Mark Stoeckel has been our family primary care doctor since 2014. I have found to be a very attentive and thorough physician. He has a pleasant personality and really seems to care about the well being of my son and I. His support staff, from the front office personnel to the nurses, are just as pleasant and qualified. I also love the fact that all bloodwork is done right in the facility by his staff. He must be doing something right! Many of our friends and neighbors see him as well! I know the 2014 CPHS Football Team loves him!!!! Go Timberwolves!

Dr. Mark Stoeckel, as the emergency on-call physician, doesn't call patients back, even after the answering service repeatedly calls him. So glad my survival wasn't dependent on his medical expertise...

Dr. Stoeckel made me feel very comfortable. It was a very positive Dr.'s office experience.
