I had the dreadful lapband since 2011, always gave me problems from the start. It had slipped out of place in 2013 , I suffered terribly , the food that I ate, always had to come back up ! Then about 3 weeks ago it was really bad, long story short , I couldn’t eat , drink, or breathe anymore. I could have died! Dr Sutherland got a call at 3:30am that morning in which he was asked if he would take my case on, and God bless him, he agreed. I can not put into words what I think of him! He is hands down the best surgeon in and around the Texarkana area. He removed my lapband , which saved my life! Thank you Mark Sutherland your the Best!! He is quiet, kind, very intelligent! He removed a pilonidal cyst and the surgery went well. Since he is a family friend, he would come in on his off day for follow up appointments. Unfortunately, 8 months later, the wound from the surgery still has not completely healed up, but that is mostly because it is in a place that does not heal very well.
