Mark Wertenteil, MD

Dr. W has been my physician for the past seven years. He's been beyond professional and very detailed oriented. I feel very comfortable with him and I'm very grateful to have found him.

I am fortunate to have found such a highly qualified and concerned MD. The few negative comments seem to me to have been written by a person with a bee in his bonnet. Such negative comments may deprive some readers from going to such a fine professional. What a pity. Dr. Wertenteil is the MD you will never want to leave once you meet him. Wonderful doctor; wonderful human being.

I don't understand some of the reviews. I have been a patient for about 15 years and have found Dr. Wertenteil to be nothing other than excellent and professional.

Read some negative reviews here but have no idea what these people (person?) is talking about. I've always found Dr. Wertenteil to be caring,respectful, professional & spends time listening. Best is the short wait time every time I go. Been a patient for about 7-8 years

arrogant is a word i thought would never be used to describe dr wertenteil. But he has changed and it has not been for the better. I have no need to be a patient of such a rude and arrogant doctor.

Dr. Wertemteil is an arrogant person , mean and definitely with no compassion. He might have his impressive degree and certificates, but he is not supposed to take care of patients becauase he does not care at all.He is mean and heartless. He has no manners , he is rude and arrogant.

I am an ex-patient of Dr. W. Dr. W. staff seems very interested in getting in patients for their annual exams. If you don't have your annual exam - he will not treat you. This seemed extremely unprofessional. In addition, about 3 years ago he started being extremely arrogant and has given his "professional" opinion in an unprofessional manner. At that point I decided to leave. His staff was always rude and unprofessional - to a point, where staff at another doctor's office complained to me about them. One good point about him - very little wait time. I expect this to improve.

I'm a long-term patient of Dr. Wertenteil and I used to be very satisfied with him but I have noticed in the past 2 years or so, he has gotten very cockey and gives off an impression that the patient doesn't know what their talking about. I would like for him to accept that sometimes, the patient knows their body better than any doctor could and that he should not only listen, but truly hear what his patients are telling him about their symptoms. For this reason, I am considering changing doctors. I don't feel as though he really cares anymore. He's become robotic and it's sad because I really liked him and felt comfortable with him.
