Dr. Mark Alan Williamson, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Williamson for about 6 months. Each time his manners have gotten progressively worse and it’s been uncomfortable to meet with him. Today he made passive aggressive comments “because of the pandemic” towards my fiancé sitting near me which made me start to have a panic attack and cry because I rely on my fiancé in high stress situations and wanted him close. I was so anxious I could not speak or breathe properly. The doctor ignored me and continued to harass my fiancé who was attempting to help me breathe and calm down. Neither of us had covid, we were both wearing masks, and had our temps checked at the door— makes no sense why us sitting apart from each other would “help stop the pandemic” and protect the doctor from covid (who apparently forgot mental health issues are deadly as well). We left and will not return to see Dr Williamson again. Big red flag when your mental health doctor does nothing during your crisis. Seemed like he was having a bad day and took… it out on us. Very rude and unprofessional.

I feel like he helped saved my life when he diagnosed me in 2013. He is a great psychiatrist.

This doctor is maniacal, egotistical, and self centered. When I first met him he came off as a pushy, and wierdo. I understand he is a doctor, but this man deserves to have his license revoked. Doesn't know crap about his profession and I swear he only went into medicine for the money. The guy is a danger to his patients. Be aware!

I understand that one needs to respond to his questions, but when a patient is having trouble that does not mean you get to look down on them and make them feel like an idiot for struggling to do something simple for you. It often feels like you take your stress out on your patients.
