Dr. Mark Joseph Yanta, MD

I was treated like a "old lady" that didn't have any brain cells left by his Audiologist, MS. Heath. She told me that sometime in the future if I still have issues to contact a PT that treats vestibular. I told her that the Dr wanted me to rack my brain to see if I could remember the previous ENT that did a audio test for me. She told the girl at the front desk that is something "I" wanted, not the DR. after he stated he would like to see their notes. She also told me after the test to follow her to a room to see the DR. No rooms were available so she sent me on my way without talking to the DR. When I read the Assessment and Plan that the DR stated on my walk out papers, the Dr PLAN was for me to consider vestibular rehab. and prior records. and another therapy. NONE of which, MS Heath went over with me before she rushed me out of the office. I reported to the office staff that I was unhappy with the way I was treated and I would not be coming back.

I gave him a 2 stars because he did a great job putting in my daughter’s tubes. That said, he’s very impersonal and doesn’t engage with children, it’s like he’s uncomfortable. My 4 year old has very sensitive ears and during her follow up appointments, she would get squirmy when he tried to look inside. Though I would try to distract and restrain her, he wouldn’t do anything on his part like try to talk her through it and put her at ease. He just looked annoyed. If you’re going to offer pediatric care, you need to have a good rapport with children.

Dr. Yanta has once again proven himself to be the only ENT that I would trust with my infected throat. His guidance on proper use of antibiotics and nasal sprays has made the healing process faster and more comfortable. He has been my go-to doctor for all things sinus, throat and chest related for 30 years. My wife and I trust him implicitly.

i can't really say enough good things about Dr Yanta and his office and surgical staff . I had a small tumor removed and from the start of the process to the finish , I felt cared for by Dr. Yanta and all members of his staff. Outstanding.

So pleased with Dr. Yanta and his staff. They're extremely professional but also make my kids (my 3 yr old daughter has been a patient for years and he's performed 2 of her procedures and now one of my 10 month olds is also a patient) feel comfortable. I trust him and feel like he definitely has my kids' best interest at heart. Highly recommend.

Dr. Yanta is an awesome ENT. He is always easy to get into for emergencies. He listens to my concerns and truely cares! I would recommend him to anyone.
