DEMAND another doctor! I was referred to Dr Patel due to severe cervical muscle pain/spasms following a neck surgery. In my medical records, he repeatedly referenced 'jaw' pain rather than neck and stated, "She may benefit from a psychological evaluation." Actually, Dr. Patel may benefit from more medical training. My neurologist diagnosed me with cervical dystonia.

Absolute worst experience with doctor Does not look at chart - tells you, you don’t look in pain. Awful bedside manner, rude and lazy. He Makes the entire health first organization and Holmes regional medical center look bad. Everyone else encountered in this hospital right down to housekeeping and valets were amazing.

While I was an INPATIENT he was excellent! However, apon discharge from the hospital he said I had medications at home and should have enough to get to my appt to see him in his office in 3 days. I HAD NO PAIN MEDS LEFT AT HOME! I literally charted (which I produced to show him)every time I took meds and what dosage. He wouldn't even look at the chart, which I might add was very intricately done and very neat and legible! He could have cared less!!! He was also VERY UNPROFESSIONAL telling me ... I used to be a good patient 3x in the same 5 mins he may have been in my room! If my appt. is not satisfactory in Monday ... I will never see him again ... nor will I refer ANYONE TO HIM! As well as file a complaint with the american medical board for Drs. Last chance Doc!

He took a lot of time with me and explained everything to me and even consulted another doctor for a second opinion at the time I was there. Very good with giving me an injection and the medication I would highly recommend him to anybody.

I've had multiple Lumbar Epidural Steroid injections and his were the only ones that worked!
