Dr. Markham Jay Brown

As my primary care physician, Dr. Brown has always provided excellent care. He listens well and is very forthcoming with his thoughts and diagnoses.

Unsure about the other one star ratings but my take on Dr Brown was and is totally different. He took the time to assess all of my health concerns and provided me with only the necessary meds giving me a very detailed overall assessment of my health moving forward I am very pleased and bring my new PCM my nervousness is over.

I have been to several physicians in my life but two stand out as the worst that I have ever seen; one is FP director at Nellis and other is this fool "Doctor" Brown. He never listens to patients in the room, is laughed at by folks on base as "the guy to avoid" and seems to have the knowldge of a Nurse Practitioner at best. He comes across as absent minded and tries to push his Mormon crap on me at every visit.

Probably the worst physician that I have ever seen. I am not sure how he is retained by the USAF.

This doctor spent about 2 minutes with me in the room despite my 2-3 problems of hypertension, dizziness and headaches. He spent more time typing than paying attention to me. He seemed rude at times and did not seem to have the knowledge that you would expect from a physician. I have been told that he has left Nellis for another assignment which is good for the patients at Nellis; he should go somewhere that he cannot hurt someone. Sad for the USAF and my family whom he took crappy care of too.

This guy is about as bad as they come for doctors. I have been to many military and Civilian physicians but none as bad as him. his personality, demeanor and medical judgement are all odd to say the least. He should man a desk just to keep him from harming someone.

This guy somehow made it to the level of a physician in the USAF which is VERY scary. His skills in the clinic are pathetic and the people working in his hospital make fun of him as a joke. Everyone that I know who has seen him as a patient relates that he is usually clueless in his skills and ability to treat even simple problems. He stares with his mouth open when trying to tell him something and does NOT come across as a Col. at all. Why can't Nellis get better doctors than this guy?
