Dr. Marko Ivo Klisovic, MD

I had surgery on Nov. 30, 2018. Dr. Klisovic removed both my tubes and ovaries along with a right ovarian cyst via Laparoscope. He was very thorough, detailed and informative about my surgery. I was very concerned about the pain after surgery. He reassured me that my pain would be under control prior to discharge. After I woke up from my surgery in the PAC I had 0 pain!!! I was pain free during my recovery time with very little soreness!!! Absolutely amazing!! Yes, I will definitely recommend Dr. Klisovic to family and friends!!! Very polite, informative, detailed and patient!!

I am very disappointed about the service I have received from Dr. Klisovic as well as his office staff. When I had a question concerning a new prescription, I was informed that my phone call would be returned shortly. I waited over 2 weeks before I decided it was time to follow up. Again, I was told that my phone call would be returned. I never received a phone call. When I called for the third time I was informed that my prescription had been switched to an entirely new medication --with out my knowledge or consent. As a registered nurse I know this is a huge "no-no." In the health care field it is common knowledge that a provider needs to first discuss the risks and benefits of any medication with his or her patient prior to writing a new prescription. At the very least Dr. Klisovic or one of his staff members could have informed me that I was being prescribed an entirely new medication. I am tired of being my own advocate. I have much better things to do on my days off. After this… experience, I am switching to a provider who practices patient centered care.
