We need more like her! I thank the day I found her, or she found me. She has seen me through many times when others thought I would not make it. She is very knowledgeable and professional. Top notch doctor! Dr. Shuman is an excellent listener, extremely knowledgeable, and she comes across as someone who really cares about you as a patient, and as a person. That's what makes her a top notch doctor in my book. I'd add that she's a rare find in today's medical community. She's a curious problem solver, particularly if you have a condition that has been nagging you and you've been without answers. All I can say, is "definitely recommend".

Dr. Shuman is one of the very few doctors around that "knows your problems" but actually listens to you and takes all the time necessary to make sure all of your problems are taken ccare of. Up to and including calling another one of your dr,'s and giving them an ear full if she see's you are not being treated correctly. If I could I would ive her a score of 10 stars.

Marla Shuman was my Dr. for 10yrs. until I moved to N.C. 12/13.She was the best Dr. I've ever had and I've had many. See her you'll thank me! She could save your life.

She's very nice. But I paid hundreds for appointment copays and lab fees for lab results that I never even got back. I could never get in touch with anyone at the office nor have any of my phone calls returned about my lab results. I gave up and called it a loss. Waste of time and waste of money. She spent a lot of time with me trying to work through some diagnoses but had no idea what could have caused the symptoms I was having. And I still have the same symptoms months later. For all I know I could have a serious problem, which is currently on some lab sheet locked up in their office somewhere. Maybe if she was completely out of her element with this particular problem, she should have tried sending me to another Doc who specializes in airborne pulmonary diseases. No shame in that. I wish I had done that to begin with instead of wasting my time here.

It is very difficulty to get in touch with her office. When you call during regular business hours you get " The office in now Closed" message.

I highly recommend Dr. Shuman for any patient with pulmonary issues. She is professional, caring, sensitive and right on the mark when it comes to diagnosis in all areas of the human body.

Dr. Shuman spent more than ample time with me on each visit fully explaining my condition to me. It is good to know I am in such caring, competent hands.
