Dr. Marla Louise White, DO

I visited her multiple times in 2020-2021. Horrible woman. She was rude, uncaring, quick to judgement, and dismissive. She physically hurt me during a procedure and while crying and shaking she stopped to demand whether I was going to stop or if we need to reschedule. Denied medication during procedure. After being physically and emotionally damaged by the appointment and explaining how upset it had made me she left the room only to send in a therapist. Even her nurses came back into apologize for her actions and dismissal. After seeing repeated "good" reviews to mask the bad with very similar wording and timing of post I've been wondering if the good was written by her own hand.

At the age of 72 I rate Dr White as the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life. I agree with another reviewer that stated she should not be treating humans. Unprofessional and lacking in the skill of being ethical. I have called Advocate Support at least five times with no resolution to my issues. Obviously they do not intend to support me. I would not take my animal to this person.

Uncaring, unprofessional and how can she be an Sr. instructor??!! Maybe she should stick to paperwork instead of patients

I would never see this doctor again. She has an uncaring attitude and rude at times during an office visit. She spent very little time regarding the main issue as to why I was there. Her time was spent on reviewing medical tests than using the time productively on why I was there. Be prepared and Review medical reports before the patient gets in the office.

I felt like she did not listen to my concerns or take my concerns seriously

I have been to see Dr White several times in the past year. I have always found her receptive to my concerns and willing to work with my needs.

Dr. White quickly diagnosed what several other MDs could not. She gave me a plan and I have stuck to it. i am now healthier and happier becuase of her efforts. SHe also spent nearly an hour with me which helped put my mind at ease!!

Upon reading other comments made regarding this doctor, I felt I should say something. Since joining the WISH Clinic, the caring has disappeared. I have been treated for H1n1 as well as an unknown skin ailment,high BP and Cholesterol. Each time I am there my weight is the topic. Since when was weight a factor in the flu? The diagnosis code on the billing is obesity. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED FOR OBESITY BY HER OR ANYONE ELSE!

As the other review stated, I would try to explain my anxieties and how uncomfortable I was feeling. I too was told to deal with it. My nerves gave me high blood pressure and was thus refused birth control. I had received bills and private information in the mail that was for another patient. At times I felt like a lab rat with over 5 people in the room while i went through a personal and difficult procedure. I hope in the future they are able to understand that these patients are people and have needs that should be met by everyone there. It's hard enough to try to be honest with Doctors and then to be humiliated was an insult. I think there is promise there, if they attempt a different approach on how to treat people.
