Dr. Marlene St Joan Moulton, MD

The only saving grace of this pompous physician is taking the leap to take thorough blood work for a condition I had been getting brushed away by other physicians. However in the time I remained as a patient I have seen the many moods of this physician, most of which are not pleasant. Very rarely will she see patients and has telehealth wait times of over an hour and a half each time. This physician is very unwilling to work with other practices for patients with chronic conditions and will push many general health concerns on specialties. It seems the practice operates under the logic of “bill as much as possible and make the patients come in as much as possible for no valid reason”. I was told only one health concern per visit and had multiple visits to accomplish simple matters like referrals to specialists. I can count on one hand the number of times I left this practice with nothing accomplished and frustrated, sometimes in tears by what rude comments were made by the physician.… If you suffer from chronic conditions or need a physician to treat you like a human being, not a dollar sign, choose another practice.

I am really glad I found Dr. Moulton. I got tired of my previous doctor rushing me in, prescribing me drugs ( that I never take), and then chastising me the next visit for not taking what he prescribed me. He wasn’t listening to what I had to say. Dr Moulton recognizes that and is working with me so I don’t have to take medications. I really like the way she handles medications and listens to me.

Extremely rude physician. As a pharmacist, I get several of her prescriptions and whenever I receive a fax back from her after an inquiry, she writes cutting remarks on them before faxing back. Even called one of my employees an “idiot”. Very unprofessional.

The listening dr needs to listen

Both my wife and I are patients of Doctor Moulton. I am a physician retired from private office practice which makes me somewhat more critical of physicians and medical practices than an average patient. Doctor Moulton has one of the best run and most user-friendly medical offices we've encountered. In part this relates to her clever and considerate use of technology that makes it possible to interact with her and with her staff in an easy and intuitive way. The personnel in Doctor Moulton' office are well-trained, pleasant, and obviously care about doing a great job, We've been pleased with.Doctor Moulton's professional care in all respects. She is both very knowledgeable and a fine communicator making her conclusions and recommendations easily understood. Obviously it isn't possible for any physician to completely satisfy every patient in every encounter, but our experience is that Doctor Moulton comes closer to 'batting 100%' than any other physician we've found in the Fort… Myers area. She's definitely a 'keeper!'

This Dr rolled her eyes when I asked questions. She seemed rude and cold (she was great on the first two visits). She or her staff scheduled apts for me but sent me to the wrong place, very far out of my way and they didn't even do the type of procedure I needed. When I had issues, I could not get her office to call back in a timely fashion. For example, it would take a week if they ever called back at all. I had several friends going to her as well, we all left her practice.

My husband and I both went to Dr. Moulton for hormone pellet placement. We both had very poor results, although I had had the pellets placed by other physicians with no problems in the past. I was told that I would be reimbursed for over $3000 worth of laboratory bills, but I was never reimbursed. I gained 15 pounds which is quite a bit when I only weighed about 120 lbs on average. After Dr. Moulton injected my husband with testosterone pellets he began to feel poorly. My husband decided to go to another doctor in Naples (a urologist). The urologist performed blood tests and found out that my husband had a serum testosterone of 22,000 IU (that's right, 22,000). Dr. Moulton also offered to perform a LASER procedure on a condition that I have. I am a retired dermatologist, and I can tell you that if she had performed the proposed procedure on my skin condition, I would have had permanent painful scarring. It is my opinion that a physician should practice in the area in which they were… trained.

This women is freighting! One visit she was nice, second visit she was in a fit of rage. Pushed pills not needed. She didn't even check my history and pushed pills that were detrimental to my condition. Stay very far away from this women

Dr. Moulton told my 93-year old mother she needed to wear a heart monitor. Since the first device had to be returned, the monitor survey period needed to be extended. Although 4 attempts over a week were made to resolve this issue (2 calls to Rachel - front office staff, 1 to Maria - the office manager and a message left on the doctor's emergency line), to date no one has responded.

Staff was very friendly. They should that they cared more than the Doctor. She was very cold and rude. She kept saying things that she does not do. I was not there to know if she was a therapist or if she was a disability doctore. It was my first visit to have her as my primare doctor. So she neede to know wjat was my history what was going on with me. I was surprise how she prese ted her self as a Doctor nothing like the picture. She was not friendly and kept attacking the staff. I will be switching Doctor. I am a laid back person. But i recommend dont waste your time. I wished I went by what the reviews say . You can tell the staff were walking on egg shells with her present.
