Dr. Marlene Nadia Yacoob, MD

I am a physician who is of the belief that a Doctor who has himself or his family as. patients is a fool. After 40 years in practice, I am very aware of the skills of the other doctors in the area. I chose Dr Yacoob as the primary care physician for myself and my wife and am very happy I did. She is knowledgeable, personable, affiliated with the best hospital in Orange County and refers to top specialists.

~~ ¥ The BEST! The office staff might not be the best (and often times VERY frustrating) but it's worth it to see someone who will listen and get to the problem. Don't mistake the staff for an amazing Dr! Dr. Yacoob has been my Dr since 2009 and my fiancé & his daughter for ??? ever. As soon as I saw her, she knew what was wrong with me. Which I've struggled with my entire life. I truly adore her like a mother. She's that warm & comforting. If she retires-- When she retires, I'm going to be sad. We almost switched to Kaiser, since all the issues with insurance companies currently, and every time I thought of it, my eyes tested up. Due to that, we ended up staying on our current insurance for her! THE ONLY REASON! There's other Dr's in the office but she is the one that is ALWAYS in demand. I promise you'll adore her & be glad she's your Dr, if you choose her. Even my fiancé's sister goes to see her.

I can't say enough about Dr. Yacoob. She has a great bedside manner and treats me like I am the only patient she has when I am with her. Unfortunately her front office is not run properly and the staff is abrasive. I deal with the long wait times and disengaged front office because Dr. Yacoob is THAT amazing.

I absolutely love the way she cares about her patients. She takes time to listen to concerns and communicates everything so clearly. I just love, love Dr. Marlene Yacoob and her staff!

I have been seeing Dr Yacoob as my primary physician for several years because she LISTENS and pays attention. As a GP, she was the one to order specific tests and directed me to a specialist where I was diagnosed with a major health issue. She believed what I was telling her and looked for a cause rather than treat symptoms. Because of her listening skills, professional experience, and concern, I am now receiving treatment and feeling much better. If you want good medical care from a HUMAN BEING, become a patient of Dr. Yacoob.

Dr. Yacoob is great. She is caring and listens and remembers things. Does a thorough job. Her medical assistant is great! They are a good team. The front office needs a lot of help. They are unprofessional when leaving messages at your home, they are not thorough or detail oriented. But I can overlook that because of Dr. Yacoob and her assistant. Just be prepared to deal with the front office.
