Dr. Marni Lonna Mentis, DO

Dr Mentis did my reconstruction after a mastectomy. She totally ignored my signs of infection even though I was very ill and called her office several times to say so, which allowed a staph infection to run rampant causing me to lose the left side of chest and I’ve needed 6 surgeries to try to repair the damage.

Everything wad work. Im planning to have another procedure with het in the near future

Dr. Mentis is the best. From my first visit I felt like she cared. She actually sits down and has a conversation with you without interruption about everything that is going on with. Feel very cared for every visit. The staff rocks too I didn't think I would give a doctor's office a five-star review, but this practice is superb. They took a lot of time, we felt like being treated like human beings and left the building with a smile.

Poor care and poorly executed surgery resulted in 4 1/2 months of healing time, with open wounds the size of the palm of your hand, requiring Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment daily for almost 4 months, and skin grafts under both breasts. End result is two disfigured breasts that the doctor takes no responsibility for.

She completely ruined my breasts after a breast reduction surgery, causing my breasts to open up post surgery requiring six months to heal. She is operating blind, has an assistant do her work in the OR. Do NOT USE HER!

Horrible reconstructive job!

Only saw doc for my initial visi, until the day of surgery. Had a breast reduction that went so horribly wrong I am almost 4 months post op and still not healed. Major complications, horrible scars with misshapened breasts. Every post op visit, including the ones when I had open, deep wounds the size of your fists...that were 1 1/2 inches deep were met with, "this may take some time, but it will get better. Don't be upset!" I would not have her operate on my worst enemy. Beware!!!!!!

Went for Cool Sculpting. Dr. Mentis was there to say I was a good candidate and to mark my body. Everything else was done by an LPN. Went for 4 week photos. Was told they would be emailed. They weren't. Had to call to ask again. Went for 8 week appt. The LPN took my photos and promised to send them via email. She didn't. I had to call to ask again. AND I never saw Dr. Mentis again. There was no follow up at 8 weeks. When I asked about Dr. Mentis, I was told she was out of town. If I wanted to see her I should make an appt to come back. REALLY??!! Do they go out of their way to make me feel insignificant or do they treat everyone like that? I dropped almost 5 grand there and I was never asked how I did, any problems? Shame, shame. Too bad, Dr. Mentis. I was considering another procedure, but will never step foot into your office again.

Dr Mentis has been great throughout both of my surgeries....staff also very friendly!
