Dr. Marshall Craig Freeman, MD

I had tried most medicines before I saw Dr. Freeman. My family doctor referred me to Guilford Neurologic Associates where they had me see a physician assistant. That was a waste of time and he only sent me there because they were part of the Cone Network. I wasted another year getting treated by a provider who didn't know anything about headaches. I did my own research and asked my family doctor to refer me Dr. Freeman. Finally I got a referral to Dr. Freeman. He thought I would be a good candidate for a research trial in headache, and I have been doing great for the past six months. The physician assistant didn't even know about clinical studies in headache. The medicine works great and I hope it will get approved so I can keep getting it.

He really helped my wife. Dr. Freeman is an excellent doctor.

Headache Wellness Center has really helped me. Dr. Freeman gives me Botox injections for my headaches. None of my other doctors even discussed this option, now I am practically headache free. I have been getting Botox for the past 5 years and will never go to another doctor.

I saw two female doctors at Guilford Neurologic Associates for my headaches. Neither one knew anything. I finally had to refer myself to Dr. Freeman. He is just down the street and the neurologists at Guilford Neurology pretended they didn't know his office. What a crime! I am a sick patient languishing in pain when they could have sent me to the right doctor to start. I got my appointment and he changed everything. I have been at the office for a couple of months now and he is doing nerve blockers to my head and changed my medications. I am already 100% better. Avoid those other places, they don't know anything about headache care.

Dr. Freeman changed my life. I saw every other doctor first (ENT, allergist, internist, chiropractor) but he was the only one who actually took time to ask me in detail about my headaches. I have had sinus headaches and period headaches since I was a teenager, but that was normal. No one knew it was migraine until Dr. Freeman made the diagnosis, and i'm 44 years old. I also started getting daily headaches a few years ago, but everyone said it was stress. The chiropractor said he could cure me, but that was a lie. My ENT said everything looked normal. My regular doctor told me it was okay to take ibuprofen every day, but dr. freeman said it was causing headache to be worse, so I stopped. I am so much better now and go to work and have my family. I don't know why other people complain about this place. I am taking medicines, he did injections, and I feel great. Every office uses a computer now. He types while I talk, so what? There isn't another place in all of north… carolina like his. If you think your doctor can help you like dr. freeman, then your headaches aren't bad enough.

Dr Freeman has one of the worst bedside manners of any Dr I have ever seen. He may have a smile on his face and seem pleasant enough but it is all an act. I have seen him for over 4 years and he never truly listens to you and can't wait to leave the exam room. I have chronic migraine and none of the treatments have been effective. He tried very few different treatments and I felt I had to keep ASKING what else could we try. He never really offered solutions. I felt like I had to "run" the appointments and ask what could we do next. If your migraines respond to his standard pigeon hole treatment, then you'll be in luck. But if you require specialized care from a Dr who actually takes an interest in and cares for his patients KEEP LOOKING.

I agree with the reviewers that do not think very highly of Dr Freeman. He did injections in my head and when I told him the side effects, he said everyone wants to blame the medicine. I walked out and will never go back.

Dr. Freeman helped me with my headaches. Really nice office. I recommend you see him if you have headaches.

Today is CHRISTMAS and I want to thank DR FREEMAN for saving my life. I have been his patient for over 2 years and I am a totally different person because of his EXCELLENT CARE and COMPASSION. I had seen lots of other doctors before and was addicted to narcotics and practically confined to bed. My husband was taking care of me every day and my life was terrible. I was very sad and sick. I even had to go to rehab because of all the drugs my other doctors gave me. Dr. Freeman was the ONLY DOCTOR to listen to my problems and not want to start me on lots of new medications. He helped me through very difficult times. It is a MIRACLE and I am very grateful for his treatment and help. It took a long time for my body to get better and for me to start to turn the corner. He started some new daily prevention medication and cleaned my body up. He did injections in my head which helped a lot and I still get them sometimes. I am now getting BOTOX injections. My insurance did not want to… cover them, but his office kept working until it was covered. I want to share this CHRISTMAS MIRACLE of my life with everybody, and thank GOD and Dr. Freeman. He doesn't treat DRUG SEEKERS so go somewhere else unless you are serious to get better. Thank you and God bless.
