Dr. Marshall Phillip Keys, MD

This is the worst eye doctor I have ever seen. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I would never recommend him, unless you want to waste time, a lot of money and be mistreated too. The office is filthy and all the equipment looks very outdated. They don’t use gloves and when they do, they reuse the same pair from one patient to another. The doctor doesn't explain anything and gets annoyed when asked a question. He and his staff also have very poor bedside manners. He doesn't take insurance and charges over $200 but rushes the patient throughout the eye exam. If you ask patients to pay over $200 out of pocket, at least take the time to conduct an accurate exam and answer questions. Last but not least, If you have follow up questions after the visit, just forget about asking, he will not address any of your questions. Do yourself a favor and choose another eye doctor. ANYONE will be better.

I am usually extremely hesitant to write reviews of professionals on these internet sites, however, in this circumstance I felt it necessary to reply to the obviously uninformed individual in the previous review. The individual recognized another "doctor," neglecting to mention he is a "doctor of Optometry' and not a medical doctor. The patient in this case was diagnosed by Dr. Marshall Keys a MEDICAL doctor and surgeon, and was obviously told there was no medical concern or serious diagnosis. Could it be the child's teacher was responsible for the progress at school ? The natural progression of our highly functional educational system in Montgomery County? How disappointing for this parent to poorly review an obviously honest and trustworthy physician that told her there was no serious diagnosis for her child.I have three children who have been patients of Dr. Marshall Keys through their entire childhood and beyond. My first born was operated by the skillful yet gentle hands of… this amazing doctor when he was prematurely born and his entire body could fit inside my hand. Imagine the skill of a surgeon that can actually operate on an eye of such an infant? Dr. Marshall Keys was able to offer my son the vision of a world he would have never seen.You will never regret entrusting your children in the hands of this honest, patient, and gentle physician.
