Dr. Marshall Merrill Stone, MD

I do not recommend any of you to this man, , his work is incomplete (very bad experience)

I have not seen the doctor in three years, he has been a busy man...in fact too busy to speak with me...he is a close friend, but so preoccupied with his work as a doctor.I know that my life has been so complicated...I sadly know how complicated...but, I am still here.Marshall is a good man and an excellent surgeon...perhaps I will see him next year.

If you are making a decision to see this doctor because he is the main pediatric surgeon in Palm Beach or because he has John Hopkins in his credentials please think again. He misdiagnosed our child did not follow protocol & performed the surgery. See florida practioner profiling to see his record. We did our research and questioned him on his diagnosis & he became defensive, later we found out we were correct he did not follow protocol. His ego does not allow him to be the best surgeon!! Please be careful get other opnions even if you have to travel! Our case was life threatning!!

Dr. stone is great! He cares about his patients and really knows what he's doing. You can tell that he loves what he does.

Dr. Stone, Debbie N.P., and his staff are wonderful!!!! When we went to see him for the first time i was hesitant from reviews. Dr. Stone was very professional. The appointment was not rushed and he treated and spoke to our son (11 yrs old) as his patient, not thru us. He made sure he knew everything he needed to know about what he needed to have done and what it would entail(we saw him for pectus excavatum that needed to be fixed). After the surgery, Dr. Stone came to see him 4 out of the 5 days he was in the hospital, Debbie came one of the days and they both addressed any and all questions and/or concerns we had. I would definitely recommend Dr. Stone and his staff without any hesitation!!

Surgery for my two year old went ok. Dr. Stone did not come back to the hospital to see her until she was discharged - 5 DAYS AFTER SURGERY. She had painful wound care that he did not address after being called by hospital staff and myself. I would not go to Dr. Stone unless it is an emergency situation!! No child, or adult, should ever be treated this way! For us, it was an emergency situation.

Dr. Stone accurately diagnosed and performed succcessful intestial re-section to unblock my sons intestine. I was seeking another (3rd opinion) about surgery. Though I had serious doubts about such a radical surgery, I put my sons life in his hands and went ahead, followed his advice, and agreed to the procedure. The procedure was successful, and it was this decision to go ahead with the surgery that saved my son's life that day. If I had waited (as Dr. Stone strongly advised against), my son would have likely ruptured his intestine and perhaps even died. I thank God I followed his advice. He is very professional, and very good at what he does.
