Attentive and answered questions I had

We have been with Dr. Macomber for over 15 years, we love her. When my daughter was first born we had a DIFFERENT Dr. that thought it was okay to put my baby through numerous (not needed) test. I was a new mom and knew what I was being told didn’t make since, but I believed the other Dr. things with that particular Dr. got bad. I found DR. Macomber and after my first visit felt at ease that she knew what she was talking about. She has been spot on with all three of my kids. She takes great care of their needs and even remembers what they are currently involved in at school. She always takes time to answer any questions we have. We truly love her.

Choosing doctor Macomber was a mistake. She has such a poor attitude and is very rude. Anything we suggest may be wrong with the child, she acts as if we are stupid and have no idea since she knows everything there is to know about children I guess. She had an attitude from the start, the first visit...tried giving her a chance and went to a couple more visits and she was the exact same if not worse with her attitude. I would highly suggest choosing another pediatrician

She doesn't listen. Jumps to (preconceived) notions of what's being asked. Shuts down questions with a sarcastic and intimidating manner.

After making an appointment and waiting for over half an hour to get in, the staff had a difficult time working with my son. He was nervous and upset the whole time. This was standard for every visit we've made there. They did what needed to be done - so I can't complain about that - we paid our co-pay and left. Then, because since our last visit they had become a Scott and White affiliate, we get an outrageous bill for vaccinations. Apparently every doctor's office in the Scott and White network is a hospital even when it's not which means basic care falls under your deductible. If you pick this pediatrician prepare for lackluster care and outrageous bills.
