First thing, I arrived to the doctor's office and was received by a huge dog who came barking in my direction! My appointment was canceled, but I had received the confirmation, received an email and message reminding me 1 hour before? My appointment was canceled, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW my appointment was by video call but I didn't know, They offered to speak to the doctor by text msg, This was my First medical consultation by msg, without having known the doctor ? Hello?? f it was me who had canceled before 48 hours i would have to pay a $ 100 fee Perhaps they think that the time of the patient is not worth money. Have the same consideration and respect that you expect from a customer. and if you want to have a dog inside the office, train him not to scare the patients, because nobody expects to be attacked by a dog inside a medical office. Be professional. running into a dog inside a doctor's office, that seemed like a joke to me, as a hidden camera tv show.

Dr Koo is caring and compassionate, however she failed to recognize that my many symptoms (anxiety, depression, insomnia) were due to a benzo prescription (e.g. Xanax, Valium, Klonopin, Ativan). Four years later I am still suffering greatly from use of this medication. There is a very informative website on this: benzoinfo.com. I have written Dr. Koo personally and advised her to please, please consider patient safety when prescribing these types of medications so that others will not be harmed as I have been. It is truly horrifying and physically and mentally painful 4 years and I am still not fully off the medication (needing to taper slowly to allow my brain and CNS to heal as best it can). Thank you.

I began seeing Dr. Koo after a death in the family and found that she had remarkable insights into every topic I brought up. Her guidance has been highly professional, extraordinarily informed, and her kindness and gentle but occasionally tough love is limitless. I wish a ten-star rating were available.

Dr. Koo has been my psychiatrist for several years. I found her after seeing various other people who were not helpful to me. She was recommended by a doctor at my place of employment who had a family member who made much progress with Dr. Koo. I am so thankful for that recommendation. Through a combination of Dr. Koo's diagnosis, therapy style and prescribed medications, as well as a lot of hard work on my part, I have come a long way. I am happier, healthier and more content with my life than at any other point in time. She is professional, trustworthy and a truly caring person to the core. She is not a pushover though and she will call you out when necessary (and in a way that is right for you at that point in your process). She is kind and always follows through. She also hangs in there until she finds the right medication combination (which is rare in my experience). She is an excellent choice for many people and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Koo is so great to talk to and is a wonderful, caring person. she also will call you back promptly if you have questions or comments. Overall, I highly recommend her.
