After earning his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, he completed his general psychiatry training at UC San Diego and served as Chief Fellow in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University. A former Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholar at the NIH and a published author of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, Dr. Khachi also holds a voluntary faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at USC. As the visionary founder and Medical Director of the Mind Study Center in Pasadena, CA, Dr. Khachi leads a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering seamless, evidence-based care under one roof. His practice blends psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, advanced neuropsychological assessments, and innovative brain-stimulation therapies—most notably Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)—to create deeply personalized treatment plans.
