Dr. Martha Gabriel Peck, MD

The best doctor I have found since I moved to Raleigh in 1988. Compassionate, caring. She LISTENS. Unfortunately, she is retiring.

Dr. Peck is a listener, and a fighter on behalf of your health. I have been going to her for 5 or 6 years, since I abandoned trying to get an appointment with my last family doctor. It has been easy to get an appointment and to contact her. She always took any amount of time necessary to hear your problems and react thoroughly, whether by office visit or personal contact. Unfortunately, this may be at an end, since she and Dr. Daniels have recently joined the UNC health team. We shall see. But if you want a caring doctor, make an appointment with Dr. Peck.

This was my initial visit, so I just scheduled a consultation visit this time. I wanted to make sure the doctor had time to hear my concerns and share her concerns, after seeing my medical history and current condition. I found her staff to be very courteous, and the doctor had excellent bedside manners. She was a good listener, knowledgeable about my concerns, had helpful ideas to share, and a plan of action until my next visit.

Don't let her quiet demeanor fool you- she's very turned in to you and thoughtful about your conditions and treatment.

Patient for three years and have always had very short wait times and thorough time with Dr. Peck. My diabetes is now under control thanks to her attention and dedication to my care.

Best experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. Dr. Peck is nothing short of amazing. She did not rush through anything. What I loved most was she actually listened to what I had to say. She was very reassuring about everything. I love the fact that she does not seem like she has other things that are more important. The staff in the office were friendly and I was helped right away.

I went to see Dr. peck at a recommendation from my insurance company...I was very impressed from day one by her knowledge, care and professionalism....the staff is great..I never had to call twice for a reorder for my prescriptions...always available when I had a question...she saved my toe... And saved my partners life...I highly recommend her...
