Dr. Martin Robert Greget, MD

Dr. Greget has been my ENT for many years. He takes the time to listen carefully, ask good questions, and come up with one, or more, relevant solutions. He has never rushed me, and deals patiently with each question I bring to him. And there can be many; I leave fully understanding all facets of what he is helping me with. I'm one of those problem patients who have multiple things go South simultaneously, and have never had to go further than Dr. Greget to get a resolution. While I tried different ENTs before Dr. Greget, I simply cannot imagine getting better care, anywhere.

Had a sinus infection went to dr. Martin. He prescribed antibiotics then it didn't help he prescribed another type of antibiotics . That seemed to work better. It helped but didn't fix it . Had to pay to get swab test = another paid office visit. Both him and his staff never once told me that in order to get results for the test I had to schedule another office visit. He won't tell me over the phone the results. I wouldn't have done the swab test if I knew this was his policy. The last time I came for an office visit my appointment was at 12 noon I came 11:50 waited until 12:45 before I got called in his nurse meet me for a few minutes. It was another 20-30 mins before he actually came into the exam room. Which he took 10 minutes to talk to me. The whole process from arriving on time to leave was 2 hours just for him to see me 10 mins. He told me cash payment is $95 for first visit. Then I had to come in for the swab test which I ask if I will be charged again his receiptionist said… no since it's a follow up yet it cost another $95 for the swab test itself. Then a month later received a bill of $265 from quest diagnostics for culture test! Included buying the prescription paid over $500+ nasal problem was not fixed. Instead he suggest me to visit an allergy specilist! Waste of time and lack of communication will never go here again.

Dr. Greget's refusal to allow me to make an appt. was, according to his staff, evidently due to a previous experience with some former patient who had also been referred by my GP Family Practitioner. His staff informed me that he would not see any patients referred by my GP because evidently he/she, whomever, had been a chronic pain patient which Dr. Greget will not see. Well, I am NOT a CHRONIC PAIN patient....never have been.... I was having NO pain whatsoever & explained that very clearly to his staff person....my ear was totally blocked & I couldn't hear at all with that ear...a condition that had begun about a week prior. I needed to see an ENT to diagnose the cause and treat this problem, but was informed that he would not see me because of his previous experience with a patient referred by my GP , therefore totally making an erroneous, premature, & uncalled for discrimatory call on my request to be seen. Very unprofessional behavior by any physician!
