Dr. Martin Bernard Mortens, DO

This doctor SEEMS very friendly and does spend a good amount of time with patients but shamed my anxious child for being afraid of getting shots. He is ignorant with regard to mental health and how words are perceived. I'm not looking for someone to handhold but I do expect decency and a doctor who understands the basics of child development. Do your kids a favor and take them elsewhere.

Dr. Mortens is a good family physician. He is personable and doesn't rush through your appointment. He is a better-than-average listener. He is a great choice for basic medical care though in my experience he is quick to refer to a specialist for things that other general practitioners often diagnose and treat themselves. Specialists provide expert care but can increase time to a diagnose, treatment, and oftentimes seeing a specialist costs the patient more.

Dr. Mortens is a compassionate doctor who takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer questions. I have found him to be very respectful & knowledgeable and would recommend his practice to anyone. Even though I no longer work near his office, I still see Dr. Mortens instead of switching to a clinic near my current location.

Dr. Mortens is a great example of a doctor who will spend time with you and cares. His encouragement helped me loose about 40 lbs. I needed his candid comments to push me into action. I can feel comfortable asking him any questions.
