Worst bedside manner ever

I appreciated his calm manner and his expertise. He was very professional, but not aloof or cold. I had post concussive syndrome, as well as a pre-existing tremor. He was very reassuring after doing a thorough neurological exam. I highly recommend him.

Finally got rid of all my pain.

Dr Solomon had no nurse and called his patients back himself. He began my visit by saying in a flat tone, "Why are you here?". He was condescending, pompous and arrogant. He based his opinion on a misdiagnosis from 7 years ago. He had incomplete previous records and did not seem interested in finding the missing ones. Though I have been undergoing treatment for Multiple Sclerosis for 4 years, he had no compassion for my fears or concerns. I have never been treated this badly by any other physician. Furthermore, I was charged a much higher Medicare co-pay than I have ever had to pay elsewhere and up front to boot. I am resending any concent that I have given him and I will never go back.

I hope Dr. Solomon knows more about other neurological conditions than my own. During our meeting, he proceeded to read from a book to find out the different ways to treat cluster headaches. I felt like it should have been titled, "Neurology for Dummies." He attempted to demonstrate how a medication worked but told me he wasn't sure, and I could could just read the directions. He prescribed oxygen (found that in his book!) but could not explain how it would work. Besides his apprent lack of knowledge, his social skills were even worse. Dr. Solomon comes across as awkward, rigid, and incredibly unsympathetic. If you have cluster headaches....find another doctor!
