Dr. Martin Thomas Strassnig, MD

Terrible experience. I had booked an initial appointment for 45 minutes, the video call didn't last longer than seven minutes. He wanted to prescribe medication after he asked me two questions and was visibly annoyed when I was asking questions about my current and future medical plan. When I was going to ask about a contradictory recommendation he gave me he said he was not the type of doctor to give explanations or answer questions. I left the video call enraged. He barely knew enough information about me to prescribe medication and then refused to provide explanation for his recommendations.

I utilized Dr. Martin for one year based on his resume but, in practice, Dr. Martin isn't quite as inquisitive as his resume suggests. As a client, expect Dr. Martin to fit you into his profiling system, treat you, then disassociate from you if you're not an easy case. Please heed this warning lest you waste a year like I did trusting him based on this academic history.

My son was treated by this doctor before and he had some EST therapy given by him. I have the best opinion about every area regarding this doctor, demonstrates a lot of concern about patient, very nice and helpful office staff. I consider him as the best psychiatrist who had treated my son among a big group of them that had treated my son. Dr. Strassnig has been the only doctor that I have seen caring and extremely concerned about a patient with a mental illness. So I give him not only 5 stars, but 10. Mrs. M. Cristina Martinez.
