Dr. Martina Soltes, PsyD

I’ve been working with Dr. Soltes for some time now, and I’m very grateful for the support and guidance she has provided throughout the process. She creates a calm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental environment that makes it easier to open up and work through challenges at a comfortable pace. What I’ve appreciated most is her ability to offer practical tools and perspectives that feel both manageable and genuinely helpful in day-to-day life. I’m a veteran where the VA Health Care System outsourced my Family Therapy in the private sector to Dr. Soltes. I was happy to have her as our Therapist. My only Daughter, her Father & I had issues in our family dynamics that with all our high educational attainment can not resolve amongst ourselves to talk it out. Dr. Soltes helped us bridge that gap to connect with each other. Now we can get along better without having to harm them in the worst possible ways on my part. Working with Dr. Soltes has been on of the most transformative experiences of my life. From the very first session I felt truy seen, heard and supported. I came carrying the heavy weight of unresolved childhood trauma, and throughout our work together, I've found clarity, healing and sense of peace I never thought possible. She created a safe, non-judgmental space where I could unpack deeply painful memories at my ow pace. What stood out the most was her ability to validate my experieces while gently guiding me toward healthier patterns of thinking and coping. With empathy, patience, and expert insight she helped me reconnect with my inner strength and rewrite the narritives that once held me back. If you're looking for a therapist who is not only skilled and knowledgebale but also truly compassionate and human... I can't recommend Dr. Soltes enough.. The journey hasn't been easy, but I am walking forward with a lighter heart and stronger sense of self-and I owe this the her!!!

Dr Soltes is very thorough with her work. I was stuck in a very toxic relationship and she helped me through that. Now I’m no longer in that situation thanks to her. I usually see her at her office, but I can also do a Tele visit.

I was nervous to unpack some past history and trauma but finding Martina changed everything for me. She offers a safe, comfortable environment and is easy to connect with right away. She is extremely supportive, caring while also encouraging, I love how she helps me to challenge myself to understand the cognitive behaviors I have built. She introduced me to EMDR therapy and has provided great resources and tools during our sessions. I highly recommend Martina and all her knowledge and insight.

I began working with Dr.Soltes when she was at the Vet Center in Phoenix, AZ. I am a female veteran with PTSD due to MST. This went undiagnosed for many years. It wasn't until I could check off nearly every symptom on the PTSD checklist that I knew that nothing in my life was going to change if I didn't address the elephant in the room. I have and have had the same partner for the past twelve years and it was his behaviors that triggered me the most. We began working with Dr. Soltes three years ago and she has been able to connect many of the dots that needed to be addressed for both of us. His behaviors and my responses to them and vice versa. We are keenly aware that it's not just the two of us but the other players in our lives; parents, children, friends that also contribute to the whole experience. We continue to discover and uncover behaviors that we both need to address and work on. Dr.Soltes has been easy to talk with and she's very good at laying out what she observes without… ruffling feathers so to speak. Been seeing Doc Soltes for almost 14 years now. I first saw Doc when I was enlisted in the Army, and was going through extreem anxiety and PTSD. She always recommends other means of healing without medication, which I preferred. Doc helped me transition from soldier to civilian which was tough. When the VA offered to send me to another therapist I refused to see anyone else as I would need to start over . Doc moved to Arizona and I was able to see her as a civilian. She's beyond professional, she always has a way of explaining things and introduced cognitive behavior which fixed alot of my issues and clouded thoughts. Soltes is understanding but also offers what I call tough therapy , will consul u but also let u know when your cognitive thinking is kicking in. Today she is still helping me open more doors that I didn't know exististed. An added plus to doc is she always provides a comfortable environment and has the best candy. I hope to continue to see Doc for years on end.… I strongly recommend her style of therapy for all types of trama.
