Dr. Marvin Roy Kremberg, MD

I have been a patient of this guy from several years. I cannot get anyone to return my call or email. This is not professional. I had an appointment and my Uncle died and had to cancel. No response to numerous calls and emails. Good luck.

Dr K has no idea who I am after many visits, always trying to get me to take more expensive drugs that i don't want, spooky apartment. I ran out of meds, and i kept trying to make an appointment but no one answered my phone messages for weeks. I'm out of meds. So I see tonight on Zoc Doc that he stopped taking my insurance! He just dropped me, ghosted me. This guy is a psychiatrist (!) and he drugged me up and then abandoned me. Someone please investigate.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kremberg since at least 2015-2016. It takes forever for them to respond - via email, text or phone. The staff is nice but does not know how to deal with patients. I am extremely frustrated that I cannot get in touch with them and my medications run out next week. Really ridiculous. I am in healthcare and if I did not respond to patients, I would be fired.

Will Absolutely never pickup or return your calls nor will his office, and is highly disrespectful of your time or true concerns

I would never set foot in this office again and found him inappropriate and rude. For example he looked me straight in the eye and told me I was overweight. He made an error on my prescription and the office has not returned phone calls from the pharmacy. I didn't expect much but from this appointment other than to medications but I did not expect to come out of there feeling absolutely awful.

I have been in the healthcare industry for 25 years. I never met a practice that functions in this manner. The staff does not call you back or answer emails - it takes quite a few days. The first time I saw him, I waited an extremely long time. The second time the appointment was made early and I still waited 20 minutes. I find it unheard that the doctor or staff do not return calls or emails for days and days and never ever answer the phone. Yesterday, was the third day in a row that I called and found out that he was on vacation. I called the covering doctor and reached him directly. I only went to this shrink to get started and because he was one of the NY few in the neighborhood I need, who takes OXF FRDM. Good luck --

I would not recommend Dr. Kremberg to anyone who does not have previous experience with the medications they need. He will write a prescription for most anything you ask for, and doesn't take much care to get to know you. But if you already know which medications work for you and simply need a doctor who takes insurance and is quick, he's the right one for you. I completely understand all the negative reviews he receives, yet I continue to go because he is convenient for my needs.

My issue is not directly with Dr. Kremberg during sessions, but rather the staff within the office. My issues with his staff are three fold. 1 - They never answer the phone. Due to this confirming an appointment time is utterly impossible. 2 - I called when I needed a refill of my RX prior to my next appointment. Even after leaving 7 messages over the course of 2 weeks, I never heard from either the Dr. or his staff. This left me without my RX. When I finally did get them on the phone they were extremely rude and hostle. At one point, the admin even said to me "what?! do you think you are our only patient? I can't return every single phone call." Due to this, I was left without a RX for 3 weeks. 3 - I was overcharged for my visits. It wasn't till I received information in the mail from my health care provider that this came to light. I'm still waiting on my reimbursement and I'm sure I'll have to continue to call and harp until this is resolved. It is difficult to find a Dr. that you… feel comfortable with and trust. Unfortunately, even through I liked Dr. K his staffing issues have forced me to find another doctor. If I can't rely on receiving my medications consistently and have my questions/concerns answered, I can't continue to visit the Dr.

If you are looking for a shrink who will take 3 minutes and write you prescriptions for anything you ask for, this is the guy. If you want to ask questions, voice concerns or have an intelligent conversation about a medical condition, go elsewhere. Then again, if you want to have an intelligent conversation about flowers or the various asian trinkets in his office, he'll be more than happy to oblige.

I don't recommend this doctor. He looks good on paper but his bedside manner isn't good. He repeats his entire diagnosis practically to the office staff as if he is needs a witness. Most importantly he is pretty cold and only spends about five minutes with you. He's a pill dispenser and not much else.
