Dr. Marvin Alan Zamost, MD

Been going to Dr. Z for over 30 years and at one point switched health insurance plans to get back to his office. Common sense and spot on, not somebody that believes in tests for everything and just as good as they get.

I have had Marvin Zamost as my primary care for 25 years. His diagnostic ability has caused me to refer countless people to him. Cannot speak highly enough of him. He is a no-nonsense doctor!

DR. Z has been or family doctor for over 35 years, me my husband all 3 of my kids and my grandchildren go to him. eveyone loves him. he can be fast but he will take his time with you and explain your situations, he can be stern and tell you like it is, does not hesitate to consult specialists. he almost always is exact with his diagnosis, we feel like hes a part of our family, the one thing that I do not like is he no longer visits you at the hospital, i miss that, but he has exelent Hospitalists that cover for him. you ca not go wrong with Dr, Z

Have been going to Dr Zamost for many years.He doesn't waste your time. He is thorough and fast. I'm always comfortable with him. My husband recently lost his own doctor due to a change at his practice so he will be getting his next check up with Dr Z....

Such a great doctor. He finds things that one would think is simple, but ends up being something difficult to diagnose. He has treated my grandfather, my parents, my husband and brother and my kids (and my son in law). I hope my daughter and her husband gets pregnant before he retires. He is a great dr!

Has been my doctor for 20 or more years and I trust his diagnosis and treatment completely. He has always answered my questions completely. I have had two occasions where a specialist was needed and his referrals were top notch. On another occasion when I called with a what I thought was minor problem he recognized the potential danger and properly told me to get to emergency and a serious problem was likely avoided. He will not waste your time with long waits in the lobby or exam rooms. Very nice man and enjoys his work.

Like him as a person, but not as a doctor. Does not stay on top of care or follow up, refers to doctors but does not keep or review records sent to him. Had a physical that was under 8 minutes, not a hmo patient either. After years as a patient, I have no faith in him, his level of concern or care.

Pleasant, competent and easy going its easy to see that despite his years on the job he still enjoys what he does and keeps current. Spends time answering questions completely when asked but likes to keep things moving otherwise. If not forward about asking for information then one could feel a little rushed or leave with questions - but he is very approachable and does not intimidate.

He has treated my whole family and many friends through the years. He is tough in that he won't let you whine etc., but he will see you at a moments notice if it is really necessary and he knows what he is doing. You feel like he cares about you. Plus he is the only doctor that I've ever heard of that will actually call you back if you call with a question. I think he is great.

Good practioner. Very sharp. If I ask him about some aspect of my personal health, he has already noted it, but generally will only make a comment if I ask about it. (I am referring to a health problem other than the one I came to see him about). Would recommend him to friends.
