Dr. Mary-Anne Kowol, MD

Dr. Kowol asks excellent questions to get you to understand what your issues are, to help you understand yourself better and to help you answer your own questions. She is compassionate and empathetic while maintaining a very professional doctor/patient relationship. I trust her which is typically very hard for me. I feel very lucky to have found her.

I do not agree with the negative reviews above. I have nothing but respect and trust in Dr.Kowol. I have been working with her for quite some time now and have never been more impressed or comfortable with any other doctor in my life. I would reccommend her to any of my friends / family who might need this kind of treatment. I would trust her with my life.

Like the poster above said, she seemed to make up her mind before she let me speak. I believe I am partially to blame though, as I now find out she is an addiction doctor. I am not an addict. She put me on a drug that made me go out of my head the next day, when I called her to tell her about it she said if I didn't stay on it (or one similar) we couldn't work together. She did not allow me to be a part of my treatment.

She does not take the time to talk to you and let you explain whats wrong. After about 1/2 way through she had already made up her mind as to what was wrong. And she was not even close. Maybe if she would have let me finish talking she would have been able to make a better diagnosis. I would tell you family and friends to avoid this DR at all cost!!!!
