Dr. Belford is wonderful. I found her to be compassionate, extremely patient, and well-informed in her discipline, in addition to being upmost professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Belford for more years than I want to admit. She is a very warm and caring Dr. She listens to what I have to say and doesn't rush me out of her office. I have never experienced a bad day with her and I visit on a monthly basis. I have only had to wait for her one time in all of the years I have been going to see her. I highly recommend that you select Dr. Belford.

I have been Dr. Belford's patient for many years and I am very satisfied with her as my doctor. She asks me questions, listens to my answers and to everything I say. She knows so much about different medications and how they work and what they are used for. I will probably never see another psychiatrist. I can always count on her.

Mary Belford has one of the worst bedside manors I have ever had the displeasure of being subject to from any healthcare provider. I understand very well the difference between a Psychologist and a Psychiatrist, but anyone dealing with patients who suffer from mental/emotional disorders SHOULD understand that both avenues of treatment deserve and require a certain level of compassion, and general respect for the patient as a human being. In my opinion this woman is not fit to be working with those who require emergency or ongoing treatment for mental illness, and may quite possibly do more harm than good.

Very impatient and rude with my child. He has bipolar and anxiety disorder. You would think she would be more approachable

This Dr. Is Ice cold, No human touch at all, very poor communication. I know Kankakee county has a major shortage in Psychiatrists, It's sad to see one of those do such a poor disservice to their patients

Staff are so friendly, thorough in taking messages or concerns, and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door to making your next appointment and leaving!! Highly recommend. Nichole the front associate is always so kind!!
