Amazing Doctor! Really cares about how your doing!

Dr. Chiasson was so terrific. Friendly, caring, and SO knowledgeable!! She knew exactly an answer to what I was wanting to find out about my symptoms after numerous other visits to other specialists. She can be serious at times but if this were a man no one would care. :) She is a top-notch provider.

I had a lot of trouble finding a doctor that i could work with. Over 15 years ago i asked to see this doctor and have been very pleased ever since. If i had to find one thing to frown on it would be driving across town to see her. When i started seeing her it was a short drive. To me it is still worth the drive.

I had an extremely unpleasant meeting with this doctor. I thought that I would look up reviews regarding her and am grateful (yet sad for them), to find that others have also had negative experiences--I am not imagining things!!!Without going into detail, I will just say that I also received the most cold, rude, condescending treatment.I think that I will file a formal complaint. A lot of reviews complaining about her bedside manner. She's a doctor who is there to diagnose neurological problems- not be your emotional partner. She diagnosed my problems (obvious problems) but offered many different solutions. I've been going to her for 2 years, and he has helped me manage my problems through the ups and downs.

the only doctor thats ever told me that surgery on my back would not do any good because of the number of discs damaged (3 that were tested) because they were the bottom 3 & fusing or disc replacement wouldn't improve my back.

I saw her and she may or may not know her field but she is very condesending and couldn't be bothered by my visit to her. I was asked directly "Why are you even here?" Which I had been refered by my trusted and over ten year relationship with my primary doctor after I had an MRI and found white matter spots which she could not locate herself on the MRI per her direct words. She also could not find the lesion on the MRI which I have already seen a Neuro-ophthalmology at the MAYO clinic about over five years ago thus maybe she is not a GOOD Neurologist to begin with. She proceeded to tell me there was nothing wrong with me and made me feel as if I was stupid to even be sitting in her exam room. I know she has a transponder so I hope the clinic refers to my visit notes to verify my complaint.

I found Dr Chiasson to be VERY caring and professional. She went above and beyond the call in caring for me. Referred me to Great PT that really helped. Explained what and why's so I could understand.I highly recommend her. I have a closed head injury. Thanks!

Maybe people are more likely to report negative versus positive experiences. In any case, I had a very positive experience with Dr. Chiasson. She was concerned, courteous, and gave a detailed explanation of her findings. Even more so, I appreciated her honesty in discussing best and worst case scenarios. In my case, no clearcut diagnosis can be made at this time so my score for accuracy is a bit lower. However, it has nothing to do with my doctors.

In her office, Dr. Chiasson has the poorest behavior as a human being, let alone as a doctor. Just be very careful with her, or simply avoid her. There are many caring and reasonable doctors out there.
