Dr. Mary Jean Cuaycong, MD

While she may be experienced, I agree with the other patient who reports that Dr. Cuaycong lacks listening skills. She is defensive when you give her information that is relevant to your symptoms - including results of tests that are more recent than the ones she refers to in the computer system. Defensive remarks include "I have been doing this for more than a generation" and "I know what I am doing." When I pointed out that I am trying to be collaborative and provide information that is relevant, she did not respond - simply looked at me blankly. She took the diagnostic interview in her own direction - basically addressing risk factors related to cardiovascular health - when I have already addressed these issues through major changes in diet and increases in exercise regimen. I don't recommend her but I am stuck with her, at least for now.

Has no listening skills whatsoever. Cuts you off and talks over you when you're trying to explain something. Unbelievably arrogant. Avoid at all costs.
